    I pay 4.70 for 12.5kg bag from some field out in the sticks, so 50 pence for 5 kg seems a bargain

    49P IS a bargain. Decent spuds as well. I'm happy to throw them into my trolley for that price. :D

    Incidentally, while I was there I availed myself of their Weetabix 'copy'. My wife is a total Weetabix snob but thinks they are just as good. I was amazed! :eek: Almost half price compared to Weetabix. I may be returning to Aldi.
