I went to the Post Office to change my coppers into 2 x £2 coins but they didn't have any! I was so disappointed and had to come away with 2 x £1 coins. Next I went to the Britannia with some silver to change into a £2 coin which they were very happy to do (considering I'm not a customer). Then I asked if she could change my £1 coins to a £2 coin - she gave me a quizzical look (obviously she has not heard of the £2 Coin Savers Club .... yet!) but she was happy to change them.
I told my sister about the Club and she already saves £2 coins! She didn't tell me about it! She saves hers up for takeaways.
Not sure what I'm saving for yet - perhaps just a rainy day! But my 2 x £2 coins are safely home in my tin!DFW Nerd Club No.785 = Proud to be dealing with my debt!0 -
