I feel great doing this! I've had a coppers money tin since I don't know how long, but my daughter always managed to lighten the load for me somehow?
I've now hidden it and I've started my £2 savers jar as well, so far £4 in that!
I'm dead excited!!!:D

Got up to the £40 mark today so I've banked them back into circulation and the new crisp £20s will go back into the box.
Still counting them though, just don't want the coins out of circulation too long - they are hard enough to find as it is!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Just back from our half term break were we spent all my saved £2 and 20p coins on activities and the odd meal/snack. Whilst away I got two more £2 coins so that starts me off for the next holiday.Books - the original virtual reality.

Three for me in the last week.
Although, got two coins from boyfriend and had to swap the other one with my Mum, none of the shops seem to be giving them as change atm! I will bank when I get to £20 and put it into the wedding savings fund.

DP seems to be getting more being a taxi driver so I swap him for £1 coins
Tin is getting heavier, having to resist opening it.
With shops ask them if they have any when getting change, most staff automatically go for the £1 coins. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0
