When I was in Aldi today I made the mistake of asking the cashier if she had any £2 coins. I was then given 6 of them! :rolleyes:
So what a choice...should I pop them all in my tin or not?
Well actually I couldn't afford to as I needed to spend 2 of them in Asda! So I popped 4 of them in instead! :j0 -

Right, I'm back on track with this - DH raids the £2 piggy bank every day so they are being spent as quick as they are being saved
So, I have started to transfer them from the piggy bank to a little tin - DH is none the wiser and already have £8 after only 2 days! :T Will bank the coins every time I reach £20 0 -

it's a bit of a dry spell for me unlike the weather!!!! i've not had any for what seems like ages and i haven't even seen any to know that they are floating about!!!!

Aim: To save £1000 by 1st June 2007! Achieved £842!
New Aim - to save £1k by 1st June 2008 - So far banked £654
Change Challene - Aim £150 from 9th July 2007 - £184.66
Bronze Olympic Challenge target £1007. Current total £3340.78:T

Mind you, my shopping came to £4.09 and I paid with a £10 note and gave the lady on the till the extra 9p (to get rid of some coppers!). I wasn't expecting 3 x £2 coins in the change...!!:o
