I started doing this about the middle of 2003, to say I guard my £2 coins with my life is an understatement but I now have over £1150 purely from putting them away,I put them in a binus account and if I pay in regularly and don't make any withdrawals (what my precious £2's!!) the bonus is quite good.

I was going to buy a money box but then my hubby took a large glass jar that had pickled eggs in it and he cut a hole in the lid and glued the top on it, so i have to smash it to get my money.

Last summer i had £400 in it and it was still not half full.

my terramundi has arrived! i wrote on the wish card and DS2 ceremoniously put it in, and then DS1 put in the first £2 coin. we have decided to save for a holiday!!!!!

I got my first £2 coin today and my new Terramundi arrived from the postman at the same time, now thats what I call good timing!!! I am now a fully fledged saver!!!! Thanks for the idea OP.

Here is the latest list of the MSE £2.00 Coin Savers along with the amounts to date (3rd Februaryish…). It seems the Savers Club has 109 Members now –wow! … how Fantastic is that… how Wonderful…

The chart is also a test to see if it displays in a thread ok and the information is useful to Savers. Any comments for improvement will be highly appreciated. The plan is gather all the £2.00 Coin data from the members’ signatures at the end of each Month and display a chart. An interim update could also be done mid-month if wanted....
