Hopefully you're going to tell us you live in a first floor or above flat...!
"Steal me, steal me!!" shouted the terramundi, from the window sill.
Joking aside, these are some of the first things thieves will go for in a break-in...for the very reason we're all getting excited0 -
the only thing that puts me off those teramundi things is that the coins might go out of circulation...and you're stuck with a half full, expensive pot, and the do i/dont i break it debate to cash them in before they stop being legal tender.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

JUST A THOUGHT, DO YOU THINK WE MAY HEAR FROM THE BANK OF ENGLAND SOON, REGARDING THE VERY MYSTERIOUS SHORTAGE OF 2 POUND COINS
THEY MAY BECOME COLLECTORS ITEMS, THEN WE COULD TRADE THEM ALL IN FOR LOADS OF DOSH :rotfl:

for people still looking for a terramundi pot, PREZZYBOX have quite an extensive range, and if you register with the site, you'll get a £5 voucher to cover the p&p and make it a bit cheaperknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Oh! forgot my tin saver - I already save 1.00 coins occasionally - very occasionally! Its my china fund (the cups and saucers!) which are a bit pricey - so difficult to justify when I have debts
Well that takes care of all the change now!
and I want to see my sig 2 to see if its ok - yes it is!2.00 COIN CLUB = £36.00  ! [/SIZE]

No it's not. I've already been bought things for Xmas this year. I've got £24 in £2 coins. Find it hard to have change lying in a jar though, as soon as there is enough to bag up I put it in the bank.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
It's a fantastic idea, but you're not earning any interest on it. Wouldn't it be better to open a new saving account (your "£2 account") and when you get to a certain number of coins (say 10) put the money in there? Then at least your savings wouldn't get eaten away by inflation.
I know if you save with Sainsbury's Bank they let you have as many e-savers as you like, so even if you already have savings with them you could have a separate "£2 pot" which your £2 coin savings could go into.
Just a thought.

They look nice, but at the end of all things it would be hard to actually break it. My daughter has a very pretty one made especially for her at Camden market. I'd be frightened to crack it. I think i'd stick to those cheaper tins you need to open with a can opener0
