OMG, you're only eating twice a week?! That is just awful   I would definitely postpone going BR and use some of the money that you have set aside for fees to get some food in. It's no good feeding your son and you keeling over. I believe there are some excellent ideas on a few of the boards on here on shopping on a budget. No one should be on so little that they can't afford to eat.

I know you said you have been off work since November - surely you should still be on at least SSP, which should enable you to get food in? It just seems so awful TT.

Well now you've made the decision to sort out your debts, you can start to see the wood for the trees. If you're no longer servicing your debts, you can get some proper food in for you and your son. You're going to need your strength to get through this so you need to start taking better care of yourself.

Just a thought - could you explain to your friends the situation you're in, and maybe they look after your son while you go to the CAB? If they're noticing that you don't look well, they will probably really like to help in any way they can.
