Yes I did use the Vista Disk.

It came up with the county for time/date and language

    and then offered repairs

Which I presumed is where to go into?

    If not please advise.

    Yes, you did right :)

Sorry, I had to ask as the logs exactly the same :(

Well I have to say im sorry but im really unsure how to proceed myself. You might well be better taking it somewhere for a proper repair (Burn whatever data u want to keep to disc though)

Though I must say im confused, as id have expected the VISTA REPAIR option to have fixed some of it at least!

hmmmm ~ goto computer and right click
    Bring up DEVICE MANAGER
Are there any yellow exclamation marks present?

I realise that I am be female and blonde (now) but I have been using these since 8086's (Oooops! showing my age, shhhhh!) its just networks and vista and weird ones like this that leave me behind.

As it is under warranty, I know that Medion will demand I take it back to factory settings so although I do backup been double checking inbetween the crashes, so that I can do that and then go to them under warranty.

Thanks again everyone for your help it has got me running enough to check the backups.
