  • I ordered got email confirmation, nothing afer 3 days so emailed to check, got email today saying I wont be getting and that no money been taken, yet it clearly shows it has...............im p...........ed off with them, misprice or not if you have planned for arrival it stinks, espcially if they have them in stock under different barcode, i have emailed to complain!!

    Ordered and order confirmed. 3 days later had e mail apologising about error. Stated no money taken....this is correct. Disappointed but not feeling suicidal. Half expected not to get it. Happily didn't get rid of my old dishwasher! Am now getting on with my life and will not look at this thread any further. The weather is depressing enough.

    I ordered one about 9am on Sat 24th and I am not getting one. (Got an email from them yesterday)
    They did take my money though and so far don't seem to be in such a hurry to return it as they were to take it for a non existant item.

    Oh well back to the drawing board on that one, at least the one I have works at the moment (mostly anyway :rolleyes:)

    Was worth a try though!

    Excellent. I got a reply from B&Q! They tell me that they can't do anything, they didn't respond the the breach of contract accusation and proceed in suggesting alternatives that are available to purchase from their site. This includes hyperlinks to 2 dishwashers..funny thing is that the links are invalid!

    :rotfl: I gotthat email as well - a zanussi and a hotpoint? neither link works - if you search on the part numbers - £350!

    Ordered 08.25 on 24th no email to say it was cancelled and no refund showing on my card. Just rang them to find out what was happening as I had my old dishwasher taken down the tip (I will miss her) Just been told the order was cancelled this afternoon and a refund will be made.

    How incompetent is that ? how can a firm with on line facilities not contact the customer and let them know, sorry we took your money 7 days ago, but we screwed up and were waiting for you to call ?

    Some people are getting emails cancelling order and others are not :confused:
    I ordered one for my sister on 23rd around midnight, got confirmation email, money deducted from account and heard diddly squat since then.
  • Well i still haven't had an email cancelling my order so i phoned up this afternoon to find out what was going on. He said they are trying to locate stock and hopefully some people will get their dishwashers so it is just a case of sitting tight and waiting. I asked why some people are having their orders cancelled and he said it is down to what time people placed as their order as to whether or not they will get one. I for one am going to pursue this though if i don't get a dishwasher. I ordered the new door and handle for it on Monday and as a result of this i am £40 out of pocket, i have looked at integrated dishwashers and they seem to be on average £50 more than freestanding dishwashers which is what i would have gone for had i not seen this deal. So basically B&Q's error is going to end up costing me in the region of £90.
