Has anyone tried the MF Mineral Foundation??? I've been trying to get my head around a powder going on like a foundation!! i don't wear foundation but like the sound of a powder where you can apply as little or much as you like. I was looking at the MF one as I have a voucher for MF products but wonder if anyone can recommend it. The MF SA in Boots said she would sort the shade out so I can at least make sure I get the correct shade.

    Hi Angie

My daughter told me to tell you she would recommend the L'oreal one. She loves that one and said it goes on easily. She also uses the blusher in the range too.

Dragged DH out today on a Bootsing trip, to spend some of my vouchers (they seem to be breeding in my purse at the mo!)

    Shop 1 - Merseyway, Stockport
CW Dream Curls - reduced to £4.50 (from £5.37 as no lid)
Used a Wrinklie so cost £2.50
Anti-Fatigue set £3.67 (got to the shelf just as a man took the last-but-one set & nearly rugby-tackled it off him!! :p Couldn't get the BOGOHP offer - gutted! Asked a SA, who went to check, but no more in stock)
Total Spend £6.17, got a wrinklie back & 24 points

Also, sent DH to 2nd till with another wrinklie to buy
CW Dream Hair Sublime Style Spray - reduced to £4.00 (from £4.88 as no lid)
Used a wrinklie so £2.00 to pay

Shop 2 - Peel Centre, Stockport
Anti-Fatigue Set £3.67 (last one again!)
Lee Stafford mini Dry Shampoo on clearance (87p)
Lee Stafford mini Spray Shine on clearance (87p)
(SA wouldn't let me use the Wrinklie cos they were minis, I asked very nicely but no luck!)
2 x Radox on clearance (79p) but noticed SA put them through then void them off & when I checked my receipt later, she had put one through at £1.59 instead of 79p, so even though I got BOGOF, I paid the full £1.59 - not brave enough to challenge her & demand both for 79p!
    Spent £7.00, got a wrinklie & 28 points

So spent £15 in total, DH has two Anti-fatigue sets, I have a load of haircare & smellies & two more wrinklies!! Could've been a bit better result, but overall, not a bad afternoon! DH was impressed!!

I'm still able to print out the £5 P&P vouchers, [strike]if anyone wants one[/strike], but not getting any haircare points offers from the ACM! Didn't have the guts to print out any S&G vouchers from on here, but might get a bit braver in the week, when I can go on my own & try them!

Thanks to all for the info, especially the Anti-Fatigue sets - & a big hug from DH! :A

    S xx

My first post on here was 14th January, after I'd come back loaded with bargains from the 75% off sale. I'd been lurking for a while but so pleased with all my purchases that I registered and started to post so that I could thank you all for the hints and tips - and that was just the start of it. I now count myself as a fully fledged bootser and have made some great friends along the way.

Today I was in Leicester - made a specific trip as I wanted to "buy" a new digital camera with my points. Yes in just one month, from an almost standing start, I have accumulated enough points to buy a camera, memory card and case:j (and still a bit left over0

Anyway, first port of call ACM where I wombled a £5 P&P voucher that someone had kindly left in the machine for me! Still no P&P offers for me, nor a total spend one (do you only get one of these a week or something?) Anyway, started to wander round and found a putting set so chuffed about that as Dad is a golfer, finally picked up some toothpaste and some S&G minis and then wandered upstairs to photo department to look at cameras.

SA was absolutely fab, nothing was too much trouble for her and she couldn't believe I had so many points to be able to get everything "free". The deal was done on the camera and accessories and before she went to get the box out of the back I "innocently" asked if I could pay for the rest of my shopping here and when she said yes I said I just need to pop downstairs as I've forgotten something - no problem she said I'll get the camera ready for you. Nipped downstairs pretty sharpish and picked up another 3 S&G minis

Back upstairs camera, card and case all were packed in a lovely gift bag - I'll give you this she said! Camera should have been £195.82 and was now £75.82 (checked last night and it was £78.82 on dot.com - so even better!). Paid in points for the whole bagful of camera stuff and then started on the basket.

I explained that the S&G voucher didn't seem to work very well but that I'd used it earlier in the week in Southampton and the SA had put it through as a manufacturers coupon so she said no problem and put them all through manually:j. We were chatting nicely all the while, she still couldn't get over how many points I'd got - then she gave me a £5 off £25 spend voucher. Told her I was going downstairs then to No 7 to look at the P&P body serum as I'd noticed it was half price. My "friend" had wondered if the till would let us have a GWP even though the item was now half price - she giggled and said go and see the girls down there - they're lovely and ask them to help. Oh no I said, I'd be terrified to ask them that - can't you come with me and try? More giggles, oh, OK then. So downstairs we went. I was telling her all the time how helpful she had been, pity I'd not got a survey, and how I couldn't believe I'd got a personal shopper in Boots! Anyway we get to the No 7 counter and hey presto GWP went through fine, Body Serum £12.25, gave her the £5 P&P voucher previously wombled and 250 points voucher from previous GWP. She was as pleased as I was!

Then, and I know this was really cheeky, I asked her if she could do it all again. I had another £5 P&P voucher in my purse from one of the bootsers here and another 250 points voucher. She was more than happy - and I got a survey so promised her I would complete it. So all in all a very enjoyable and profitable day - and still got a load of points left!

Came home and unpacked the camera bag and found another £5 off £25 spend voucher and 3 sets of vouchers for free digital prints cos I bought a camera. Opened up the memory card and found another voucher for free digital prints. All digital print vouchers are valid for 6 months and DD is getting married 4th May so these will really come in handy.

Off for some pampering now before a Valentines Ball tonight

well done:T what a fantastic SA you had:D I hope you give her a glowing report:)

    enjoy your valentines ball suepernan:D

Ive had a fab couple of days bootsing, just when Id decided to give it a rest for a while too
In the first shop I found 1 lonely girard Bali sunrise set (which, imo smells lovely. Very summery) so got this with s&g pore refining mask for £12.** with 500 points back and the s&g voucher definately doesnt beep if you actually use it on the skincare/facial range.

Then decided to take a detour home after reading on here of a local branch with reduced s&g so thought Id chance it. In my first transaction I got 2 x s&g hand wash reduced to £2.20 each and a mini hand food with 1 JF serum. As I approached the till the lovely SA said, 'oh, they dont scan properly. Dont worry I can override the till' :j So I got it all for 40p! They were the last two handwashes but I went back again and did it with 2 mini righteous butters and another mini hand food and JF serum and at the till this time found another 'Love Notes' booklet. Went around to the perfume counter and they had the New York nights set which is what Id wanted originally, took it to the till and it scanned at £4.28! SA on perfumes was amazed and kept saying 'we're paying you to buy this, i've worked here years and never seen deals like this!' If only she knew my spare room, loft, under the bed, cellar etc tells a different story :D
I got 2 more of the new york nights sets, we price checked all the others but they were still £8.56. Their were still about 6 on the shelf when I left.

So Fridays total spend was £23.** with almost £21 back in points and over £100 of goods.

Today I got 2 x p&p body serums, 2 x gwps, olay thermal face stuff and s&g spot cream for £20 with over £10 back in points.

Also noticed in Market St, manchester they have the vanity case that the artist pallette came in for £19.50 and its empty  I had to double check it was meant to come with nothing in as I honestly thought someone had pinched the contents or they were selling ex-display ones but they had a proper SEL, SA said their a new line.

Sorry to have waffled on so much, just wanted to share my bargains as OH doesnt really understand why I get so excited and is beginning to wonder where his beef wellington is Im meant to be cooking :p
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j

I was there last night (I'm from Weston too) and I bought no 7 P&P, but didn't notice if the body serum was half price, sorry! Might be worth a phone call ...
And yes, they had loads of £5 off wys £25 vouchers, but only can be used in 10 different Boots stores (larger city stores, obviously incl the Mall).
