In my first transaction I got 2 x s&g hand wash reduced to £2.20 each and a mini hand food with 1 JF serum. As I approached the till the lovely SA said, 'oh, they dont scan properly. Dont worry I can override the till' :j So I got it all for 40p!
Congrats love on having the most fabulous shop:T ... I am so envious! but love to read & learn & make copious amounts of notes.....
Soz to be dim, but can you explain to someone like me who is a bit slow, how you got it all for 40p... Thanks:o
Anyway guys, just a heads up, that if anyone is in Bradford, the Boots in Foster square will not give you the GWP on the half price body stuff, you have to make it up to £18, think its the same in the Arndale centre aswell... And they make a right song & dance if you try to use the S & G Voucher:rolleyes: Claiming first it was for use in Ireland only, then it's for full size items only. Then when I patiently explained that the T & C's didn't state that, they begrudgingly over rid the till.
Not before telling me that it was 1 voucher per customer, and I wasn't supposed to print as many as I wanted.... Eeek!
I am really new to this guys and even tho I didn't get the best deals, for me they were amazing, & my sincere thanks to you all that take the time to share your knowledge. Without you I would not have known about the 250 pnts in the GWp's or the £5 P & P in the Acm, which I took advantage of today! Thankyou again

If you can find a store with the gillette gwp putting set then you can get one of these with a cheap gillette clearance product. they would actually go through without any gillette product but that might look a bit suspicious. Also I think ACM is giving out extra points for gillette at the mo.now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
sniped
I'm still able to print out the £5 P&P vouchers, if anyone wants one, but not getting any haircare points offers from the ACM! Didn't have the guts to print out any S&G vouchers from on here, but might get a bit braver in the week, when I can go on my own & try them!
Thanks to all for the info, especially the Anti-Fatigue sets - & a big hug from DH! :A

I have loads of the haircare ones that I am willing to swap for the £5 off P&P (or you can just have them for no swapsies). PM me if you would like them:D

Shurrup and keep sipping the wine and eating the wafers :rotfl:
I think Pope Passion8 has a certain ring to it, don't you?(Btw Polls, it's not bad English anymore to begin a sentence with "And". That 'rule' went out around about the time we stopped having to spit on blocks of mascara and use that teeny little brush thing
How gross is that when you think about it now? _pale_
)
Oh no you mean we dont have to spit on mascara any more? Nobody told me.
Just laughing at the memory of when I used to (eeeeeeeee yaaaaaaakkkk)~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Thanks i will have a look tomorrow, do you know if the putting sets are usually beside the usual gillette products?0 -
Hello,
Thanks to everyone for their lovely birthday wishes xxx
I hope eveyones had a good day today. Well did'nt get to go Bootsing till late afternoon but it was good!
Shop 1
Grabbed a Lee Stafford set - sel stated £34.99 - but thanks to you all, I knew better. Grabbed 3 S&G mini hand foods
Took it to the till and asked for a price check on the LS set as it was cheaper on .com and it came up as £17.99 :T chap on till was very surprised. Then he tried to put the S&G through with the vouchers, could'nt do it and got the manager who said mini's were not normally included, but after reading the email and it's T&C and viewing my previous receipt of the same transaction, she overode the till and it all came to the grand old total of £18.39 :T:T:T
sa was so impressed - I popped out to tell OH and DD that they should go on to the next shop and I'd meet them as I had'nt finished. Popped back in to the AC next to the till and heard the male sa telling a friend in the que all about my bargain.....'she got it for £17.99, apparently she'd got it off the internet'. I just smiled and continued jamming my AC into the pink machine and then whilst waffling about my bargains he noticed I was back and stopped mid sentence, lol.
No half price No7 body serum left on shelves (was late in the day) but nice no7 sa went to get some for me. Picked up a no7 GWP and a UG mini blow dry spray and went back to till. She put the mini through, then the body serum and then stopped 'I'm sorry, but you won't get the GWP as you have'nt spent £18. The body serum's on half price' To which I replied 'My friend got one in Kings Lynn with it just fine'
'Well, it does'nt normally recognise it but .... (scans GWP) ....Oh, it's gon through. Oh what a bargain'
Was even more of a bargain when I passed her my vouchers
Shop 2
UG mini blow dry spray - free with gift card from UG tongs at crimbo
No7 Body serum £12.25 -half price
- £5 P&P from AC machine
- 250 pts no7 skincare voucher
- UG free mini gift card
Total to pay £7.25 -
so in my own little 'Boots logic' world after 250 pts voucher - £4.75
-so, if I was then to take the 250 pts voucher from this GWP (plum again) off the total the body lotion and GWP were £2.25 - I think?
After this I decided to call it a day, as the male sa on the till was watching and allthough I had'nt done anything wrong I did'nt want to draw toooo much attention to myself.
No clearance bargains, still loads of cheapy christmas crackers though. Off to Peterborough and Kings Lynn on Monday as I ran out of 'Birthday Bootsing' time.
Sandra Scarlett - you really do brighten up my day and I do so enjoy reading your posts along with everyone elses. I think we all have something to contribute on this thread whether it be a quick brief line or a lovely rosey poem. I for one would miss you if you left....and It's my birthday and I'm the birthday girl so you would'nt want to upset me xxxxx
