Thanks i will have a look tomorrow, do you know if the putting sets are usually beside the usual gillette products?

Yes, they're usually with them, some people have found them hidden behind the gillette cardboard display stand!! They come in quite a large (a4ish) size black leather look case.
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

Rubes and Passion glad to see you back girls:hello:

SS ( and I don't mean the tills ) please don't stop posting..your antics have me in giggles...I am sure your posts give us all a bit of light relief from what is going on around us x

Thanks AM :) It's like the return of the gruesome twosome :rotfl:

Hope SS has read the responses too x

    Rubes

There'd been some reductions on the NC in KW (50% off) but only on the flannels and apple and lime shower gels. But not bad as they're on 342 ;) No flannels left tho' but might stock up perhaps? :)

Big thanks to nine tails for the heads up RE: the Rimmel pallet. I got one for DD with an eye liner:T quote]

    Hi Sally

You're welcome. So pleased you succeeded in your S&G quest so at least you can lay that one to rest!
  • Just wondering what the deal with Gerrard perfumes is??

I got a sample of both at xmas and the new york nights is really good.

I know there is a 500 points voucher in some booklet on the tills advertising valentines.

I am so still just dipping into this thread.

I have agreed to ebay some of my stach, as it seems i do have rather alot.

I only live in a flat but it is getting to look more like a warehouse.

I even resisted the urge to buy the bodyshop bodylotion today £1.60 with purchase of telegraph.

Prob cos i got some nice stuff from oh for valentines.

He made me some bath bombs, all by himself, awwww.

Oh and sorry mimi it seems my mum has all your herbal stuff from crown point.

They saved her four and when my Dad went to pick it up they brought out a whole basket full, so sorry.

No bargains to post i'm affraid, but on Thursday i became an auntie, will be getting lots of baby boots stuff now.
There are Girard gift sets (inc perfume, body lotion and shower gel) reduced to £8-£9, though some stores now have them for £3-4 (not mine sadly)
There is a booklet going around Boots stores called Love Notes, usually near the perfume stands, but i have seen them everywhere! On the back page there is a voucher for 500pts when you buy any girard item.

Also if you are selling some goodies on ebay, can you pm me your username, am looking for goodies to stock up on for birthdays, and my local Boots stores never have anything good! lol
    HTH

Oh, and congrarts on becoming an auntie!

    Hi Angie

My daughter told me to tell you she would recommend the L'oreal one. She loves that one and said it goes on easily. She also uses the blusher in the range too.

    hth xx

Thanks rubylou - I did look at the L'Oreal one but am torn as I have a £10 voucher for MF!!! I wonder if we will ever get a £5 off L'Oreal or even £2 like the Bourgois ones!!!:T

Just remembered I have a £10 Love2shop voucher left so I could use that!!!!!!

Hi i saw THIS the other day, never seen it b4, thought it was a really good idea! Ive got a 6 month old so I'll probs be gettin one soon. x

i tried these with dd2 when she was teething but she just spat it out. i found it was a bit big to go in her mouth to be honest but that might have been because she started teething at 4 months

    hth
In the end, we decide if we're remembered for what happened to us or for what we did with it ;)

  • Congrats love on having the most fabulous shop:T ... I am so envious! but love to read & learn & make copious amounts of notes.....

Soz to be dim, but can you explain to someone like me who is a bit slow, how you got it all for 40p... Thanks:o

    snipped from Robster1964's post

It was 40p because the hand wash was reduced to £2.20 and the mini hand food was £2.20, they went through on 3 for 2 then the SA took 2 of my s&g vouchers knocking £4 off and the JF serum was free with the haircare voucher so 40p left to pay :j

HTH, and its not being dim or slow. Boots glitches take a while to get your head around, I still get the heebie jeebies approaching the tills and Ive been bootsing over 2 years!

  • Hi everyone
    I went bootsing today
    bought ...

olay face wash with olay gwp £5.86 - wrinklie = 86p
    3 x olay face wash with 3 x L'oreal gwp £5.86 x 3 - wrinklie x 3 = 86p x 3
    2 x JF frizz serum 5ml used 2 x wrinklies = free
    girard £8.56 got points 500.
NO7 body serum ½ price got NO7 GWP ( but went to a different till as NO7 till SA wouldn't let me unless I spent £18 ). was £24.50 - £12.25 - £5 off P+P = £7.25 + got 100 points off body beautiful range out of ACM, SA said I can't use it then she tried + yeah it went through, also has 250 points coupon inside. so in boots logic £7.25 - 100 points coupon added - 250 points coupon inside = £3.75 :D
6 x mini S+G with 6 x mocs .. wouldn't work but got over rode after 1 SA went to see a manager + a diff SA said their have already had that problem + she'll sort it out for me... so after I 1st waited a few mins whilst SA was serving customers .. when it was my turn again + the S+G was getting put through, the SA's closed the till I was at, told everyone to use another cos this was going to take a while + after it was all sorted the SA was absolutely brilliant + she was appologising to me for the problem + saying thank you to me, I did say thank you as well... so some SA's are nice + at one time there was 4 SA's just with my products sorting me out. :D:D

    guess I need 2 say thanks to MR.B :j

the manager at my store said the bath soak was being discontinued??

They also didnt have any of the body beautiful range at 342, when I questioned it she said that no stores should because of the gwp, and she would personally phone any stores who were still runnin the promotion to tell them to stop?!?
Didn't have the heart to tell her that .com also running promo, wonder if she would phone them as well to 'tell them to stop':rotfl:

    hi sarnd

It wouldn't surprise me if they were discontinuing at least two of the bathing range items. When one of the recent £5 off No7 promotion was on the go, two of that range were half price locally and went through for free! I stocked up on them for hampers, but can't recall which two it was now :o

And LOL at you re not having the heart to tell the SA that dot com were running the promo :rotfl:

A dodgy area now, as it concerns the Children in Need Hugs For Him/Her EDT. I've seen these at half price in a couple of stores since CIN night, and bought one at full price and one reduced after being reassured that CIN still get a share.

But I can't see why the 500 points won't work with them if you manage to find them, as they're a Girard product too, and at £4.90(ish), they'd technically be free - albeit via Boots logic of points equalling money. I don't need anymore, but I'd give it a whirl if I saw it. Then drop a small donation in the charity box if my conscience feels pricked.
