Ha ha, I keep trying but I get all shaky! I'll try harder from now on, I promise :D

Honestly, if it's not in your nature, it's not in your nature and you'll have a wobble (or two ;))

If it makes you feel uncomfortable, leave it. I do. The glitchy part of Bootsing can be great, but to have a really stress-free day in Boots, for me at least ;) is always one where unconfirmed or untried vouchers that 'work' are left at home.

There'll always be someone willing to try (thanks SK :)) but I'd never ask anyone to try a glitch that I daren't try myself.

BUT, once it gets the go-ahead, and has been tried and tested, go for it. Until then, you'll always read about people getting X amounts of products for Y amount of outlay, and having Z 'profit' and wondering if you can too.

So my advice, fwiw, is to wait until any **'bargain' is confirmed, and by more than one poster :) Hth

** One instance was the Trevor Sorbie Serum for 1p, I think? Seemed too good to be true, and the first time I tried, it was. It cost me £7 rather than 1p, but I took that 'hit' and learned from it. After that, I realised that it can't have been much of a mistake/glitch as it went on too long and was never 'pulled' by Boots. To me it was just an incentive to get people into Boots. And buy more things whilst buying that 'glitch' :) But what's £1.01p (what I felt comfortable paying) in the scheme of things?

    Good luck :)

Mr Passion  lol, is very well thanks. So well in fact that I think he deserves a mention now and then, like when the other guys get one) as get this: .....

.... on the 75% sale day I got up at 4:30 a.m. and he'd been up for 30 minutes! :rotfl: He'd accumulated £260's worth of points  (He's obviously been using my card as he still gets print outs for handbag dot com, and I was down to £160 on mine! :D)

Went sale shopping with Rubes, and briefly with her OH, (who's a lovely but reluctant Bootser :)) and OH and myself got a lovely hug from Rubes at the end of it. (We were kernackered, Rubes was still raring to go at teatime :rotfl: )

Bless him, it's difficult being a bloke in the Boots world, but he loves it. He can't understand all the glitches, so it makes for hefty mobile phone bills lol, but now the novelty has worn off, we both pop to Boots for a change of scenery more than anything else. He chats up the ladies lol, and I shop ;)

Where AB_KW works, I can honestly say that it's always a pleasure, and never a chore, to shop there. We talk to 99% of all the SAs about holidays, weddings, illnesses, and this thread! (AB_KW isn't the only reader btw; but he's the only contributor afaik  but who can tell? ;))

MrP's still working his way through most of the elixirs of youth :D , but his next 'trial' will be the Anthony Sport range. All reduced to 50p ...! Have you seen the prices of it online? Even your MrP might be tempted at those prices ;) Tell him to have a look sometime :) x

Oops, so off-topic I'm nearly in the Money Saving Arms :o Apologies all.

    Sandra Scarlett

Start that blog please? I'm missing the posts already ....

Well done Mr Passion :T :T does he get extra pts for chatting up the SA. ;) You are lucky having a 'live in' Bootsing partner. My OH will drop me off and pick me up but thats it. He always loves seeing what I bought and hearing the prices. But does struggle about where I am storing everything. Like, "I thought that cupboard was full of your shoes, its it's full of soap and glory"

His card has zero points. Can we husband swap for a while? How did Mr passion get out of bed without waking you for the sale, or was there a bit of competition going there.

I think a Boots foursome is even nicer Mr rubes and Mr passion.:T :T

Anthony sport range is a new one on me, something else for me to look at.

The SA in my store are great also, I don't know any who admit to posting here, but they must do as one of them called me 'polls' last week. :rotfl: We too talk about loadsa stuff, operations (theirs and mine) holidays, kids, hairdressers, you name it.

Dont ya just love Boots. If Sandra Scarlett starts a blog, we will all be there and this thread will be empty.

He usually gets a strange look, from them, or a dig in the ribs, from me :D

I've started storing mine at work. And I retired a while ago lol. Because of the recession, he's on a 2 day week so everything seems to be a struggle lately ;) I watched the news on a day when I'd normally have spent a small fortune in Boots and shares and pensions had gone down so much that I realised that toiletries (from Boots lol) was more productive then stocks, shares and pensions :D But one up to you and your OH and myself and OH, 'cos we went mortage free last year! :)

His card has zero points. Can we husband swap for a while? How did Mr passion get out of bed without waking you for the sale, or was there a bit of competition going there.

Polls! He was outta bed because it was sale day lol. But that's because we made the mistake of collecting too many points. Hmm, like that's a fact :rotfl: Can anyone have too many? ;)

I think a Boots foursome is even nicer Mr rubes and Mr passion.:T :T

    Oh dear .... let's move on :D

Anthony sport range is a new one on me, something else for me to look at.

It's still on dot com - nutty prices though ;)

The SA in my store are great also, I don't know any who admit to posting here, but they must do as one of them called me 'polls' last week. :rotfl: We too talk about loadsa stuff, operations (theirs and mine) holidays, kids, hairdressers, you name it.
Loads of local SAs read it, which is why I think they're great :A lmao. But in that store, the majority are :T Strange when they call you by a user-name, all the same, isn't it? x

Dont ya just love Boots. If Sandra Scarlett starts a blog, we will all be there and this thread will be empty.

Love Boots Polls, as you know, and I'm never usually one to ask people to reconsider not posting. If peeps want to go, then they usually do, but I think Sandra Scarlett should go to blogspot and blog her days. I'm just a few years younger than you and Sandra, but until a few months ago, all I could see and sense was 'retirement', which wasn't that exciting.

But now it is! Or was, so get the blogs going SS and anyone else for that matter. x

Hmmm, I really don't know how to post a linky thing, but that's ok because it can lead to anywhere from other threads. But double-quoting and more? Help lol x

Hiya gruesome :rotfl: It's in the 'file to be sorted box' ;) Don't you just hate those thing? I keep losing the box ..! :rotfl:

There was nothing worth mentioning, apart from 50% off tampons, and green NC. That looked nice btw ;) but not together :rotfl:

Benylin = usual price, and ditto for Nurofen Melts. Not much in KW or small place near me lol. But loads of empty SEL reduced shelves in parts. You've not been shopping have you? ;) (Read mail :))
