A dodgy area now, as it concerns the Children in Need Hugs For Him/Her EDT. I've seen these at half price in a couple of stores since CIN night, and bought one at full price and one reduced after being reassured that CIN still get a share.

But I can't see why the 500 points won't work with them if you manage to find them, as they're a Girard product too, and at £4.90(ish), they'd technically be free - albeit via Boots logic of points equalling money. I don't need anymore, but I'd give it a whirl if I saw it. Then drop a small donation in the charity box if my conscience feels pricked.

Thanks for this passion, I hadn't realised that the CIN hugs EDT was made by Girard too. I will have to scout that out on my next boots reccie. I did see it a couple of months ago on the clearance section, but it was still full price. See can't cope without you. :p

edit....Forgot to ask, hows Mr passion, is he still bootsing too?

Sandra Scarlett's here no more
She's left the room, and shut the door
She will not cause disharmony
Or conflict and controversy

And so to Boots, she went today
And spent her points (no cash to pay)
She used her wrinklies, and her card
Though getting through her day was hard

Alas poor Sandra has the blues
That card she will no longer use
And she'll do like she did before
And shop at market stalls, once more

At S*perdr*g, her cash she'll spend
For now, her Bootsing days will end
She'll give herself a little break
Cos "God like" posts are hard to take

So thank you for your great support
And for the tips that I've been taught
And thank you for the PMs too
But, for the while, I'll say .................... Adieu

xx

Hi
I was sad to read this. I remember a few months ago I upset Mimi1234 by saying he was greedy getting a whole load of Admit It You Want Me sets. It really upset him and he vowed not to post either again. I was sorry for my nasty words and although he does still post but not such long good posts. We all lead such frantic lives that this thread is a welcome relief to a lot of us. I myself have had a crappy life and am up to my eyes in debt. The only pleasures I have is the TV, Chocolate and Boots Shopping!!! Recently I posted on a thread that my daughter had been stopped for no car insurance and you would not beleive the venom that was thrown at me and her!! ( She pleaded guilty, 6 points and £175.00 fine but has learnt her lesson)

What I am trying to say is that we all love a bargain and I have met many lovely people on here through this thread. So all you lovely posters-Sandra,Mimi etc please keep posting as I for one love to hear your stories and If people want to be nasty or judgemental they should go elsewhere!!
Thanks for that - I have looked in a couple of the smaller stores, but no joy I'm afraid.
I have however, got many salon brand hair products breeding in my car boot as I speak, all bought on clearance and with wrinklies :D
me too:D I'm finding loads of reduced hair products, but no reduced facial skincare. I've got a draw (well, several actually:o ) full of olay polisher and roc wipes.

I hate actually paying for stuff when I redeem my vouchers ( passion8, you're not alone. I'm a cheapskate too;) ) Ive spent money to earn the vouchers, so I don't want to spend money when I use them. It's mr B's fault for spoiling us with the freebies he used to give us. Olay hand creams, TD hand creams, wipes, cleansers, toners etc...all for free. But, he isn't so generous these days:rolleyes:
• hi everyone im about to buy a buggy from boots where would i find the latest codes for discounts etc for boots as ive been looking for hours and my eyes are going square :-)
Mortgage at start of MFW £101416.74(27yrs)
original payment £459.67, new payment £550.00
overpaying by
£90.33 ( reduces term to 21yrs !!)
Saved over £11K in interest so far WOOHOO!!
Were not rich just paying off tiny bits here and there.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: What was it doing on Clearance then LOL (Sorry, it's been one of those days :o )

Mr Passion  lol, is very well thanks. So well in fact that I think he deserves a mention now and then, like when the other guys get one) as get this: .....

.... on the 75% sale day I got up at 4:30 a.m. and he'd been up for 30 minutes! :rotfl: He'd accumulated £260's worth of points  (He's obviously been using my card as he still gets print outs for handbag dot com, and I was down to £160 on mine! :D)

Went sale shopping with Rubes, and briefly with her OH, (who's a lovely but reluctant Bootser :)) and OH and myself got a lovely hug from Rubes at the end of it. (We were kernackered, Rubes was still raring to go at teatime :rotfl: )

Bless him, it's difficult being a bloke in the Boots world, but he loves it. He can't understand all the glitches, so it makes for hefty mobile phone bills lol, but now the novelty has worn off, we both pop to Boots for a change of scenery more than anything else. He chats up the ladies lol, and I shop ;)

Where AB_KW works, I can honestly say that it's always a pleasure, and never a chore, to shop there. We talk to 99% of all the SAs about holidays, weddings, illnesses, and this thread! (AB_KW isn't the only reader btw; but he's the only contributor afaik  but who can tell? ;))

MrP's still working his way through most of the elixirs of youth :D , but his next 'trial' will be the Anthony Sport range. All reduced to 50p ...! Have you seen the prices of it online? Even your MrP might be tempted at those prices ;) Tell him to have a look sometime :) x

Oops, so off-topic I'm nearly in the Money Saving Arms :o Apologies all.

Sandra Scarlett

Start that blog please? I'm missing the posts already ....

• I happened to pick up a few of the £5 off when you spend £25 vouchers, not sure if anyone else has posted on here they are only valid at:
Drakes Circus Plymouth
19 Albion Arcade Leeds
147 High Street Watford
Monks Cross York
Glades Bromley
Oracle Reading
Gallowtree Gate Leicester
Brent Cross
County Mall Crawley
Castle Point Bournemouth

That's strange, 'cos the £5 off vouchers that I have are valid at:

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol
Crown Walk, Milton Keynes
Fore Street, Chester
The Quadrant, Swansea
Petty Curry, Cambridge
North Street, Brighton
Arndale Centre, Eastbourne
Whitefriars Shopping Centre, Canterbury
Fort Shopping Park, Glasgow

...which means there must be more vouchers out there with different addresses! ;)
• Is it me or has CPG disappeared ??? Hope everything is OK
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
