None of the silver or red here unfortunately. They were all the pastel shades. They had the bigger yellow ones for £1 each and bogof, but I left those. I'd have thought these were reduced and bogof nationwide by now
Thanks for that - I think I need to investigate this!!!! The plastic page tore very easily in mine the other day. Will probably fall out before long lol!! I could lose a very important voucher if that happens!!!:rotfl::eek:0 -
Just got back from Liverpool St. Feel very pleased with myself.
Bought:
P&P Body Serum - 50% off so £12.25
No 7 GWP - FREE
Olay Total Effects Cream Wash - £5.86
(I feigned ignorance and didn't pick up a GWP, but made sure I paid at the No7 counter. I asked the nice SA if I could get the GWP, and got one and scanned it and, as I knew it would, it worked. Which is good, because if she'd just 'no', I didn't have a plan B!)
Handed over skincare wrinklie and £5 of P&P ACM voucher so £8-something to pay (bought a few extra bits and bobs as well, but these weren't very exciting!)
Then, I tried the S&G. I had them in my basket, but kept them seperate, saying 'I have a voucher and not sure if it works'. The SA was lovely and said she'd do them all in one, so I let her try. Of course, it didn't work and the supervisor was called. First he said the voucher were photocopies, and I pointed out that it was a mailout and so it was printed, not copied. Then he said they were on 342 so couldn't be used, and I said I was happy to do them individually.
Anyway, it all worked and I got 3 for 60p. So, so far, nearly... (does bad maths in head) £38 worth of stuff plus GWP for less than £10.
Then, I thought I'd pass on the Boots knowledge as a lady next to me was buying a Girard set, and I had already spied a Love Notes brochure at the till. I pretended to flick through i casually before pointing it out to her. Course, she was not a seasoned Bootser and kept asking the SA when the £5 came off, and the SA kept telling her it would go on her card. All whilst the supervisor was wrestling with my S&G's. Needless to say, I bolted as soon as I was done! I reckon they've got me pegged as 'trouble' now!
Hiya ( the bit regarding plan B )
I tried to get the free gwp at the no.7 counter with the ½ price P+P body serum, I gave the P+P over 1st + pointed at the gwp, I just said can I have one of those pink bags please ( cos there were behind the till + that was what words came out of my mouth without thinking lol :rotfl: ) the SA said to me, have u got any other NO7 items in your basket? I said no, she said well I can't give you one ( gwp ) unless you have over £18 worth of NO7 items, because the P+P serum is ½ price at £12.25 ( which I knew ) I just said oh ok + went off + did my plan Bwent to the skincare etc section, picked up the NO7 GWP then took it to the other tills
:rotfl: :rotfl: well the saying goes if theres a will theres a way

SandraScarlett please don't stop posting here all because of one person.
I love to read all about your shopping trips. Please reconsider.

Yikes.
Sincerely didn't mean to cause such offence. i have re-read my post now many times, and can honestly say that it was more meant to create discussion than cause offence. Perhaps this is the peril of online messages, where you lose the tone of my voice and my meaning.
God-like was meant as a compliment-I'm sure if you look back through Sandra's posts, I have also thanked her on many occasions when I have benefited from her advice and good humour.
Sandra, surely you can see the overwhelming level of support and friendship people derive from your postings. Please just shrug my comment aside if it was hurtful and accept my very sincere apologies.
I would not want in any way to be responsible for stopping you from posting here. I also work in a school, and am very conscious of the need to build bridges when I have done something wrong. If you percieve I am in the wrong, then in the wrong I am.
Please accept this very public and humble apology, and my olive branch to you.....“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -

She's left the room, and shut the door
She will not cause disharmony
Or conflict and controversy
And so to Boots, she went today
And spent her points (no cash to pay)
She used her wrinklies, and her card
Though getting through her day was hard
Alas poor Sandra has the blues
That card she will no longer use
And she'll do like she did before
And shop at market stalls, once more
At S*perdr*g, her cash she'll spend
For now, her Bootsing days will end
She'll give herself a little break
Cos "God like" posts are hard to take
So thank you for your great support
And for the tips that I've been taught
And thank you for the PMs too
But, for the while, I'll say .................... Adieu
xx
Hey SANDRA don't leave us .. we love your great posts xxx:hello:

Does anyone have a £5 P&P voucher that I could have. I am not getting them from my ACM and am desperate to buy some stuff. Thank you.:A
Also I'm kicking myself as didn't pick up some SJP covet for £3 in store the other day (cos it smelled like fly spray) or Gwen Stefani lamb for £3/4/5 depending on size, then today thoyght could have ebayed it, went back and it had all gone.:mad:0 -
Forgot to add on earler post-they had BIG boxes of this (4 or 5) on the clearance stand at EK today for £1..0
