• Do the No17 clutch bags contain any make-up, like the gold No7 ones did?

No it's just the bags, though they look more the size of a purse than an actual clutch bag.

quick question - are the half price P&P body serums at the No7 counter or clearance shelves?
• I know we've gone on a few pages since Suepernan's post, but I have to say well done! I'm so glad you got a survey, too, as that SA really does deserve a pat on the back, and hopefully some recognition from Boots - if it's true that SAs get a reward as a result of a 'WOW' then she certainly deserves one.
• Sandra, don't let a very small minority chase you away! Your description of your shopping trips, poems and I dunno what it is, just the way you write?!, is fantastic and I would miss reading your shenanigans! :)

anyone been to boots in oxford today? any bargains? still well chuffed with my bargains yesterday(posted). i now have more make-up then ive ever had in my entire life!! just need to learn how to put it all on properly! oh and big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to agatha misty:D

Yep, just got back - the city centre is crazy busy though :(
I just popped in to use my last voucher - bought frizz serum 1.95 (free with haircare bit) and olay facewash 5.86 - 86p total with wrinklie

Nothing else exciting though, except a lot of the beauty counters have giveaway samples for valentines and Lancome had some prize draw thing - but I don't think I look like the sort of customer they want so I always get ignored at the premium beauty counters :rotfl:

Ooh I haven't seen anymore around apart from pastel shades at full price. I broke a page in mine yesterday in my haste to get wrinklies out of it!!! I wonder if they are going to reduce the pastel shade ones??? Definately none of the silver or red ones around this way.
None of the silver or red here unfortunately. They were all the pastel shades. They had the bigger yellow ones for £1 each and bogof, but I left those. I'd have thought these were reduced and bogof nationwide by now ;)

• SandraScarlett please do not leave this thread, you are great on here and I always make a point of reading your posts. I think you will find most of us would prefer the whingers/ holier than thou brigade to go, not those who share their experiences, answer others questions and generally make this a fab thread.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

Also wanted to ask if anyone else has used the Olay Thermal Face Wash thingy, I used last night now my face is very sore and red. Has anyone else had problems?
I have used it every day for the past week or so now and have had no problems at all. My skin feels so much smoother after using. Think i'll stock up before the vouchers expire !!:T
After a fairly lengthy convo with the Skincare Consultant re my previously unblemished skin prior to the 'Invasion of the Wrinklies'. She suggested that i forget about using the said wrinklies to get various products from all the ranges on offer ( as a trial/tester to see if a particular range suited me better), *quick check in the mirror*...umm obviously not! And to return to my longterm brand...Olay, which i am now more than happy to stick with.
A case of 'the grass is always greener' on my part methinks:rotfl:

Anyway..i used a wrinklie to get the Thermal Face Wash & she advised me to only use it once a fortnight at first to see if my skin 'accepted' it...It had better do as i've got a stack of wrinklies to use up in the next 10 days!
