i too prefer to buy free range , but with the way things are at the minute i just cant afford to.
i do buy free range eggs but they were the mixed size 18 pack from asda for £1.50 so got a bargain there.
if i could be in the supermarket last thing at night to get all the free range stuff reduced i would, but i cant, and i cant afford to quadruple the amount of money i spend on a chicken at the moment :(
thankyou for the post op, if i could get down to asda before they go i would but i know thats near on impossible lol

especially when people are buying 25 packs...honestly:confused:
Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)

For everyone saying cheap chicken is not good....
Did anyone see Jamie Oliver on brekkie telly the other day, if it has freedom food or the red tractor it conforms to the correct standards! Look at the pic above and it mentions the red tractor- buy as much as you want!!!! Its a good deal....calm down!

eat what you can afford and if you are on a low budget like a lot of people are then Jamie and Hugh can take a run and jump,
it is easy to preach to people when you are a millionaire and after publicity.
