ADDED TO THE FIRST POST...
STOP PRESS. 6pm. 28 Jan. DEAL CLOSED
Despite giving permission to publicise this deal yesterday Sky has not told us it got it wrong and it shouldn't have allowed the code to be public or work. After discussions it has agreed to honour the deal for everyone who clicked it before 1.30pm today (28 January).... which is the time we changed this post to say "deal has expired"
Sky is sending us a full apology and we will publish it here when we get it.
The note below stays as a matter of record, though we have taken links and the code out to avoid any confusion.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

I've applied for this to, and have got this for a new house that we're moving in to - over the phone. The CSA said that the code shouldn't be used, but they would work something out.
Didn't take much, she basically honoured the deal:
£49 for eveything:
HD Box for £49 (i.e. the above)
Sky+ free
Further multiroom installation for an existing Sky+ box I have
I didn't take the Sky phone line as it was a 19 March installation date!
Would have had the free broadband as well, but decided not to given the phone line install date.
Note - I don't know if she was honouring the deal because I was taking multi-rooms (x2), but she was agreeing to it before I said I wanted 2 more multi-rooms + Sky Sports. So total is: Sky All Mixes Packs, Sky Sports Pack, HD Pack, 2 Multirooms.
The bonus on this, was that the CSA also added a recommend friend, so my sister who also has Sky got £50 M&S vouchers. I could have recommended "myself" in my current house, but didn't want to risk them realising I was an existing customer!

My advice to anyone who has placed an order using this code and then are rejected.....politely but firmly kick up merry hell (don't get abusive or angry as that won't get you anywhere). If you speak to an operator try to build a friendly rapport with them as they are more likely to try and help you out. You could possibly say you've cancelled a subscription with Virgin to take up the offer even though Virgin offered you a competitive deal to stay with them and Sky are now greatly inconveniencing you? You could mention that "you might as well buy a freesat reciever now as in the long run it will work out cheaper". If you were planning on signing up for their other services use this as leverage. It might be worth not mentioning Moneysavingexpert.com - you could say you got the code from a friend who works at Sky?? Be creative in your reasons why they should honour the deal and express disapointment that they are now not honouring the offer as you were really looking forward to getting Sky+ (it doesn't hurt to be positive about Sky).
I really cannot imagine Sky would prefer to turn away a new subscriber which would probably deter that individual customer ever to sign up for Sky again due to this c**k up. The amount of goodwill Sky would loose from each individual customer they decline the offer to does not reflect well on them.
Don't let them fob you off.0 -

Sky has sent the following apology...
“Yesterday Money Saving Expert contacted Sky’s press office to verify details of an offer that a Money Saving Expert subscriber had posted on an online forum – so that it could be included in Money Saving Expert’s weekly email that you may have received today.
Unfortunately, and we regret this sincerely, we did not make it clear that unique reference number applied only to the addressee and was not available for general use. We want to make it clear this was not in any way an error on the part of Money Saving Expert.
We intend to honour all of the orders that we have received via www.sky.com/myoffer using this unique reference number”
As part of this we're also discussing some form of deal that will be available to MoneySavers who didnt get this offer, and details will be in the weekly email next week.
