Yes, i agree. I cant see them turning people away when its gone through for processing. And if so, its worth calling them and haggling a deal as most ppl seem to have been getting good deals anyway. Fingers X'ed that the online ones go through!!

I just called Sky and asked what the best offer they could offer me. Basically it was nothing! Sky + box £99, and no deals on the packages etc. A little bit rude and veru insistent that no-one on this forum could possibly have got a free sky + box today because that offer expired last week.

I told him that others had definitley received the offers and he said it can't have been through the sky customer services centre.

So I guess no offers at all? Anyone had any luck online?

can anyone tell me how to get a sky+ box We already pay £40 per month for
sky and £10 for sky talk, broadband base is free. All I want is a Sky+ box
but don't want to pay anymore money.

I just called Sky and they tried to fob me off with the "there are currently no deals available on Sky + box/installation" and I told them that a friend had got an offer recently where they got both for free. The operator had to speak to her supervisor who agreed that I could have the offer because my "friend" had it.

Tried to get them to offer me a deal on the inclusive packages but they refused so I said I'd have to check with my o/h and call back. Anyone had any luck negotiating on this side of things?

p.s I don't want the broadband/phone stuff.

hi i just quoted the code thats on page 4 and got the sky + box free and free installation, as we wanted sky world and the top broadband, with talk we also got the first 3 months for 46 instead of 76.

definatly worth ringing and quoting the code! it worked for me!!!

Its just sooo annoying! They accept some ppl but not others. I suppose depends who picks up lol. I think if you insist that another friend has it they will try and do it for you too. Only fair...

they just rang me back to confirm everything and as we wanted sky multiroom we are having that to, so its £76 for the full package a month (full channels, talk and there top broadband, with multiroom!) so we are getting a sky+ box and standard box for the grand price of £30 installation! bargain!!!

Can anyone tell me, if I don't continue with the 12 months x £16 per month subscription and revert to free to air, can I still use the SKY+ box?
