    I ordered at 11.30am on the 28th and have received this today -

    Hi there,
    Thank you for placing an order to join Sky through our website. When you placed your order, we offered to send you an email within 48 hours confirming your installation date. Unfortunately, this may now take a little longer, and we'll keep you up-to-date with your order's progress.
    We will send you another email once your installation date is confirmed, so there is no need for you to do anything else now.
    We appreciate your patience, and thanks again for your interest in Sky.

  • Got a text from SKY saying that there has been a problem in setting up my account and to phone them. I signed up on the 27th using a code that was unique to me(as it was in a flyer addressed to me). I get the feeling that if i phone then my Quidco, which tracked at £50, will not be honoured.

    Anyone else had this?
  • Hmm, so suppose will just have to wait a bit longer. They are probably bombarded with it now lol.
  • I have been with Sky now for nearly 12 months paying £16/month for the package of TV, basic broadband & Sky Talk, which gave me free evening & weekend calls. This went up to £16-50 a few months ago but because i have gone back to BT for my calls Sky have increased my monthly subscription by £5/month. Anyone else encountered this?

    It's because you don't take sky talk anymore. You got a discount of £5 on the broadband (making it free) when you did.
  • Just ordered Sky and got the whole free thing, dont know about the free vouchers, but got myself Sky+, and a standard box for the bedroom all for free with no setup cost :)
  • Tried varying the code by 1 that is on page 4 and it works

    I tried
    SALE140068031301
    SALE140068031303 and few others and they all seemed to work

    I have just signed up via the second code and it is still working. I was only looking to get a standard box, so it is an added bonus that I will get a free Sky+ box. Thanks cralittlewood.

    I originally asked for 14th Feb.

    Got an email saying theyre really sorry but have to change my installation date to 14th Feb?!

    Wierd as thats what date I asked for?!

    Anyways at least I'm getting the offer. We'll have to keep an eye on the quidco now jellybabe and see if it pays out. Has certainly tracked at £50.:T
