I have returned from a not very MSE afternoon:rolleyes: I had a makeover and admit that I am now £100 lighter:eek: still it was worth it and I picked up some fabulous tips from the artistic director of Bobbi Brown despite him telling me "madam MUST exfoliate!" I also came home with some money thanks to Amex because if I spent £50 or more I could claim a £10 Selfridges gift card:j
Food - juice, juice and yet more juice, and chicken with veg, chicken on its todd and cheese sandwich.
The ex thing was odd, he is coming round again in a fortnight - I guess there is a tiny little candle aflame in me but in him there is a whole flaming torch:rotfl: Still, I shall take each day as it comes and have fun - because I deserve it:D0 -
Horace, just to check - are you in a relationship? I can't remember. If not, do you think anything will happen?
Well done on the makeover, I'm sure it will make you feel a million dollars so you got great value for money!!0 -
Just back from run and out of the shower. I am flippin starving - nothing in house that is sensible so am going to nip over to mr ts before I have to pick up DD and get some chicken and peppers. Gonna grill both with some onion and cherry toms and stick it all in a pitta with a wee bit of sour cream. Drooolllllll!0

Am in shock today, was bored waiting for my prescription in boots today so i thought i'd weigh myself even though i did it last week - I barely ever weigh myself but thought i'd give it another go seeing as i've been making an effort not to diet but to eat better and at better times, etc - and to my utter amazement i dropped 3lbs?!?! dont feel like i have and am convinced that i must have been wearing something heavier last week when i was 13st 5 and now im 13st 2 - how the hell did that happen lol?!?!
woohoo!!Debt which IS NOW GONE before 31.12.2011: CC - GONE!!! :j Loan: GONE!! :j

Well done JemJam
leothecat - well done on the run and good food choices!
tara - dont worry about valentines day calories... they totally don't count lol. Just be good during the day before you go out.
Had a good food day today, id say I consumed just under 1,000calories and that included a 110cal wildlife chocolate bar (or whatever they r called these days). So naughty but it tasted so good! No real walking, just a dander with DD to the shops to pick up a few bits, but i did manage to get a 30 min workout with an exercise DVD done so woohoo for that.
Yesterday was an okish food day until i was at the ballet and decided to have err ice-cream lol doh. Only a small tub 130mls thank goodness! No workout, but i did walk a good 5 miles in total yesterday so that kind of made up for it i hope0 -
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!:smileyhea
Hope everyone has a good day with a whole lot of loving going on!
Don't even think about losing weight today.... although hopefully you'll get some excercise
JemJam - wish i could lose 3lbs that easily... go girl & try and keep up whatever it was you were or weren't doing!
Dazzle - how did you get on with your letter hun? If you're stuck, maybe try posting something in the families or benefits thread for advice?
Tara - have a brill night, you deserve it hun. Handed in my assignment yesterday finally!
Dragon - don't stress about what those scales say - unless they show a massive loss, then you're allowed to believe them! Our weight changes at different times of the day anyway, so do what people day and try to weigh at a set time and day. Also have you tried measuring yourself? May be easier to keep an eye on inch loss rather than weight loss - which relies on so many other factors. Keep going hun x
Crap_With_Money - thanks soooo much for your post yesterday - i haven't laughed so much in ages! Little old me being called a "dietinig advice guru" :rotfl: Had to tell mu hubby and sister about my new found status and they laughed more than me! However, i am determined to take my new role as a guru seriously.....and promise that from this day forward i will do my level bestest to support and advise to the best of my limited ability.......
Now get up and give me 5 :j
On a more serious note, thanks hun. It was lovely to think that some of my rambling actually made sense to someone and may have helped them a little bit. I get so much from all of you on this challenge - this is the first time i've eaten this healthily and excercised for such a long period of time and actually stuck to it. In fact, i'm planning to do 15 minutes of Wii before going out in a bit. May not get much real excercise done today as will be helping my florist sister all day - so lots of running around there i guess.
Have a great weekend all0 -
JemJam, well done on the 3lb loss, great going!!! :j
EmmyLou, well done on the exercise DVD, you are doing really well!! I did no exercise yesterday at all due to my crappy leg so am going to try to do something this weekend. And thanks for the V Day calories tip!
plzhelpmesave (AKA diet guru), enjoy the Wii Fit and good luck with all the floral demands today!!! I'm sure you will be so busy you won't think about food most of the day.
I am 62.4kg this morning (28% body fat) which means I have put ON 2lbs since yesterday!!! I know it could be fluid retention and all that, but it is so dispiriting to see my weight going up and down like a yoyo. It feels like punishement for all the snacking (esp massive ice cream potion the other night). I will be extra good today (till dinnertime anyway!), and extra good again tomorrow. I really want to shift half a stone this month, although that it looking very unlikely with only 2 weeks left.

I've just had the best valentines day gift....I can now button those size 12 combats I bought at the start of the week!!! Still a bit to go before the jeans button, but id hope in the next 2 weeks I should have a nice new pair of jeans to wear too
It feels so good to be out of those sodding 14's (i know some people r thinking 14 isnt that big and i agree.... if ur not 5ft tall! before dd my natural size was a 10 so a 14 was a big jump for me).
So Valentines day or not, I am determined to stay good food wise! Need to think of something really tasty to eat that isn't too calorific - any ideas people?
plz help me - well done on keeping it up so long! Your doing so well
Tara - stop weighing yourself daily, its not healthy! I used to do it and it just makes you become obsessed and u feel crap on days where it goes up. Wean yourself off - perhaps twice a week weigh in, but get it down to once a week in the end lol. just hide the scales - out of sight, out of mind and all thatYour doing well and heading in the right direction
