Can I ask - how did you all figure out what your target weight was? I feel as though I've spent the last couple of years saying - "if I could just lose another stone..." - I don't have much more to go, but just not sure of where to draw the line. Currently, I'm 5'6" (obviously that won't change!) - and I weigh 10 stone 7 - are any of you a similar height with a goal in mind?
xx
I'm 5'3" and 9st9lbs, my target is 8st4lbs so we are similar! I found out the healthy weight range for my height (I'm right at the top end for my height) and set my target towards the low end. You can lead the bandwagon since it's actually your wedding! We're just the hangers on!
and :rotfl: at the "bridezilla"! I'm sure you'll look nothing of the sort - but I can sympathise with how you feel, imagining all the photos standing next to minute family members - my sis-in-law to be - is only 4' 11", so even at my smallest I'll still be towering over her!

My BMI's 23.7, so obviously I'm teetering at the top end too - I think for now, I'll figure out what I'd need to be to get to a BMI of 22, and maybe aim for that - that seems far enough away from the top end for me, without me getting too thin (like that's ever gonna happen!)

I think today is going to be pretty bad exercise-wise, I have only taken 4,673 steps and can't get out for a walk/run this evening as I am cooking dinner for friends. So after walking home my total will only be around 8,000 for the day.
I know I shouldn't worry but I am feeling so much more energetic and don't want to 'waste' it IYKWIM. I'll do a longer run tomorrow.
My body fat is also getting me down, 29.6% seems so high when it used to be 21-22%. But I know I can reduce it! I can!
I had my healthy salad pitta and apple for lunch and am still feeling full, so that's something. I think the hoodia has definitely made a difference to my appetite, although exercise makes me want to eat more! Who was it that said exercise made them less hungry? I see from your sig that you want to lose 18lbs, I'm aiming for 19lbs or 9kg - but you've already lost 5lbs so you're well ahead of me! :T It's good to break your goals down into smaller goals, I never really believed that till I read these half-stone threads.
