I would say have the chocolate if its really bothering you and dont obsess about it - but make sure you drink a big glass of water first and chew each chocolate 20 times so you are making sure you enjoy them and arent just shovelling them in unconsciously. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

Morning everyone :j :j :j :j and welcome to everyone who's just joined!
I'm feeling positive today, I had quite a few snacks yesterday--I baked a couple of loaf cakes at the weekend (bad idea  :rotfl: ). The three slices I had were very thin though, and I did enjoy them. On the positive side I went for 2 long walks in the snow, on top of my usual pottering around, so my pedomoter showed a daily total of 16,000 steps.
I've tried various diets with limited success, I just get over conscious and eat more and more, plus junk on top. I know that the more I exercise, the more I get tuned in to my nutritional needs, and the happier I am. So I'm working on slowly building up my fitness, eating healthily--including plenty of the salads and lean protein that I love, yummm--seperating 'real hunger' from emotional eating and, above all, trying to relax about food, even 'guilty treats'!
Sorry for boring you all with my morning musings, I'll shurrup now:o
I hope everyone's well.0 -
No need to shush nanuq! after all we are all in the same boat here (btw were the loaves tasty?), Dr Dragon made a fresh sourdough loaf last night but I was good and DIDN'T have a slice loaded with butter I had my crudite and dip instead!
After my blip weight wise yesterday my weight is back down below 21 stone this morning, whatever I did yesterday seems to have worked so I will try the same today :rotfl:

They were delicious! Well done for resisting the sourdough loaf Dragon, they're delicious too!
I'm glad your weight is back down, must be a relief. There you are, resisting bread is the secret :rotfl:. Are you a 'daily weigher' too? I weigh myself most days, not recommended I know, but it works for me:T .0 -

Yes I do weight daily (or pretty much), I know you shouldn't really do this but because I am on medication my weight can fluctuate and I need to keep on top of it, especially as I am inclined to just stop eating!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Me too, I'm sure I shouldn't but it keeps me on the straight and narrow. I find if I don't weigh I don't even think about what I'm eating that day, if I do weigh it crosses my mind from one degree to another!0
