    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Aussielass

Halight, what you wrote is so true, we actually do have a lot to be thankful for.

Daisychain I hope you have a productive day in domestic goddess mode

Warm caring ((hugs)) to all that need them for whatever reason.

Dinner tonight will be macaroni cheese for mum and I, DH has enough seafood chowder to do for another meal tonight with HM bread. I need to look in cupboards and freezer to work out next weeks meal plan. Mail prob I have is my ultra fussy old mum who is getting harder and harder to make food for each day.

When I get home tonight I plan to blitz the hall. I have an extremely large bookcase that takes up almost a full wall and at the moment is a shambles with stuff all over the shelves as well as books piled 2 deep along most of the shelves:eek: I just find it almost impossible to part with books:o I am sure that when I start I will be sneezing constantly with the dust that must have collected there.

    Have a lovely day all

  • I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here for all your help and advice. I don't post that much but look quite regularly and you really are a lovely bunch! :T

It dawned on me yesterday when I spent some time on a 'professional' forum.

    Morning Everyone,

    Happy birthday Aussielass ! :bdaycake:

and ((((hugs)))) to those who need them.

Haven't been on much over the last week or so. Stress levels have been through the roof and much weeping has been done. Realised that everything was just getting on top of me so took myself off to the doctor who was fantastic and feeling much better.

On top of things today though - wm, td and bm is on. Kids have been fed, dog has been fed and even better - I've been fed. Have lots of vouchers to use at Next from Christmas so off to get dd some new tshirts - everything seems to be creeping up her tummy at the moment :rotfl: .

HM pizza for us for dinner and probably sandwiches for lunch.

Hope everyone has a good day.
So little money - so much time

    Good morning everyone!

Hope it's a nicer day with you than it is here with us - it's lashing down with rain just now and the wind is picking up again.

Happy Birthday Aussielass! Hope you have a lovely day!!

Glad it's Friday, it's been a quick week in one respect, but in another it seems to have dragged.

DH and I did the housework last night, so that leaves us free this weekend to relax and hopefully watch some of the rugby that's on the telly.

Breakfast was tea and toast, lunch is a salad box that I made up last night and for dinner, we're going to have pizza and salad.

Hope you all have a good day, hugs to everyone and here's to a good weekend!

    Morning all!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSSIE LASS!:bdaycake:

halight - that was a brilliant post:T and so very true. I realised this when my friend was terminally ill that we have so much to be thankful for and I try not to dwell on annoying small issues. This is why I am not quite as cross as I should be about the 'person'(not what I'd like to call him:mad: ) who lied about his details after hitting my car.

Yesterday I came to a decision. For the last year I have had my nails done once a fortnight - I was always a biter so took to having acrylic nails on - and I added up what I have spent over the year having them done and it came to over £700:eek:   OMG this has to stop so yesterday I had them taken off and am now trying to take better care of my own nails. I will hopefully just have the occasional manicure as a treat. I will probably have to use the cash paying for car repairs but then want to save for a laptop of my own.

    OS plans today

    washing hung on airers
    ironing to do
walk into town to do a little shopping
make a HM chilli for tea and freeze some
    do some decluttering

(((hugs))) to those in need of one

hope you all have a pleasant day x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Good morning everyone.
Today it's dull but not too cold.Strange realy.
Ive got to go into town today as I need a couple of things to finish my daughter's birthday present off.My youngest is 32 tomorrow so later on today we're off to Manchester to spend a couple of days with her.
I made some leek and potato soup and home made bread for tea so at least it's ready for before we have to travel.I'll have to find a pudding though and finish decorating my daughters birthday cake and my OHs.His birthday is on Monday.
    Happy Birthday Aussielass for today.
I hope everyone has a good day today and nobody gets any bad news. There's been such a lot recently.
    Take care all xxx.
  • Morning OS Peeps

Happy Birthday AussieLass, Hope you enjoy it:beer:

Brightning up here but very cold, was so snuggly in bed this morning, all toasty, did not want to get out of bed. OH is still offshore but has some good news that even though he is away for 3 weeks he has changed crew so he will be back for 2 weeks instead of 1:j Happy days, really miss him:o

Did anyone else see Martin:money: on GMTV this morn? He is brill, really cheers me up as he always has POSITVE chat. Unlike those doom & gloom news folks. Last night I packed my case to go to Bath, super excited about going tonight. I worry about moving out of the city and being away from friends and family but she moved to Bath from Inverness and seems to be doing fine. Will be having a good chat about it all this weekend, she is my inspiration!lol

OS today: Cereal for breakfast and probably porridge later on, I seem to live on that just now:rolleyes: Tea will be egg on toast as I leave for airport at 6.30pm.

Tru - Sorry to hear about your sleep problems, nothing worse in my eyes as a bad sleep.I too find being outside doing something really helps to send you off later on.
Halight- Loving your chat, you always tell it like it is and in a sensible afshion too.
    Peyton- Don't pay the £2, that's daylight robbery for a mile?!Shocking:eek:
Tired Mum - It will be alright, hugs to you.

And hugs and smile to everyone else today, HAPPY FRIDAY.

    See you later x
