    excuse me for asking for help and i ain't moaning, you just get more insulting you aint helped in the slightest you don't know any facts and all you have done is been critical, where have you helped me? i asked "should i seek compensation" it was a hypathetical question, as the company are not forthcoming in helping me recover the losses i have incurred. I would much appreciate it if you keep your opinions to yourself now thank you ...... you don't know what your talking about, get on with your life, also not sure why op has anything to do with anything !!!!!

    Hmmm. I gave you a legal opinion on quantum and liability. If it wasn't useful, then go see a solicitor.

    You say the "company are not forthcoming in helping me to recover the losses I have incurred". What did you expect them to do?

    Oh, I do know exactly what I am talking about. May I politely suggest you calm yourself down and actually read what has been written rather than ranting on with absolute abandon.

    OP= Original Post.

    Have to say i dont think Tozer was particularly rude, i got the impression he/she was sticking up for you. Arguing aside, i dont see what the big fuss about claiming compenstation is for? Personally i dont think getting some cuts is worth claiming for as they dont sound that bad (you didnt mention you needed stiches or anything). But if it has ruined your bath and you had to throw away towels etc because of the glass then i think that is worth seeking some sort of compenstation for. After all, if you need to replace these things then why should you have to pay for it.

    What happened could have been a lot worse, but it is still pretty bad, glass can leave some nasty cuts.
  • I was seeking compensation for my loss, i wasn't "AFTER" anything else, as in the replacement of my bath and items lost thats all i was asking for help which channels to go through. You took the words out my mouth this is a massive non-event and i have not blown anything out of proportion some people have with there critical and sarcastic responses which i find offensive. i don't understand why saying about "it could of happened to my children" has caused such an outrage amongst people the fact is it could of and i was very shook up about the accident. i am not dramatic and have never complained about anything before i thought this was worthy of that. If you feel i responded with a sarcastic response ..... i was only replying to what was said to me suggestions without any facts probably cause i mentioned about my kids .... nice to see that people are so caring.... yes that may be sarcastic but its true, however its funny you say not many are rude but the rest are.... what about those.... everyone needs to understand that things look blunt/short when written in text. i won't ever be asking any kind advice here again its scarey.

    Anyway, thanks i have now got things sorted so far this afternoon with satisfaction, so i'd just not like to thank some people .... but for those who were helpful and understanding thank you very much take care bon voyage to this site!!!

    From this:

    i am very distraught and shook up
    could of been catastrophic
    i'm being advised to sue
    i am really angry that it could of been my kids in there...
    physically sick at the thought

    To this:

    ...this is a massive non-event and i have not blown anything out of proportion...

    Make your mind up!

    Good that you got it sorted without any fuss, though.
