I got a room and i'm over the moon!! A night in a hotel for £1 is fantastic whatever the hotel or the staff are like so big thanks to MSE Archna. I hope that all those who weren't successful this time manage to get something next time. I can't wait for a night away - probably the only holiday i'll get this year so i'm going to make the most of it

From what I've heard from friends it's a great Funky hotel and Hoxton is a great part of town but also nice and central. I live in London and believe me you could pay a whole lot more for a dirty depressing room in a run-down guest house.

Better spend what you saved on a nice meal out (If you want to eat at some where that's not a chain check out these two sites for good genuine offers and reviews of individual restaurants):

Have printed it off as booking confirmation to take with me as it looks a lot better to present than the other email one

With it ranking #12 out of 1178 London Hotels on TA, that's pretty frickin' good going if you ask me! Plus with the free wifi, luxurious room touches and a lite brekkie delivered to your door..It's without a doubt one of the best quids i've ever spent :T

This is not a scam, I think the hotel (and their staff) are great.

We spent three nights there last week from the last sale - grabbed one night for £1, one £29 and bolted on a £59 night - our second stay there, and brilliant once again. Well done to all those who grabbed a room - it's a fantastic hotel.

Went I went last I went to the Yard which was just round the corner from the hotel (in like a little courtyard, or 'yard' I suppose;) ), which whilst not cheap (hey you've got a £1 hotel room, go mad!), was LOVELY. It does pizza and pasta, and very nice. They sell the pizza by the yard! (get it?!)

I would highly recommend the homemade coleslaw!

By the way, once again, I personally think the Hoxton is lovely - whoever it is owned by and what ever marketing slogans involving bovine excrement they might have. But what do I know, I've sometimes been known to eat in McDonalds....:D

You've also got St John not too far away from you there for those real meat lovers. Quality restaurant.

Well done to all those who got the rooms and enjoy it's a nice hotel with good bar and restaurant. Quite a few Z listers hang out there too on the weekends.
