As we have all surmised from reading his wonderful "terms and conditions", he inhabits a different zone of reality to the rest of us mere mortals. If he says a thing is done, then it is done. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I notice that [Name removed by Forum Team] is using Google checkout to take payments this time around. His terms and conditions are better this time around. I do find it somewhat misleading that the site states Impulse Tech is part of GLC Group Ltd -- Registered in England Company Number: 6541505. There is no GLC Group Ltd registered at companies house... this company number is GC's PCs so will ask Companies House about the legalities of this. It may be perfectly legal but it does make it look as if this is part of a large group. I have contacted DS Dovaston today to see if I can get any update.

This website goes up and comes down like a yoyo --
http://www.impulsetechuk.com/store/
I thought the [Name removed by Forum Team] had at least been bright enough to shut it down completely. Apparently not: it's there one day, gone the next, back again the day after.
If there's some Master Plan behind it, perhaps brighter ones here could let me know.
Whatever the case: the site's page-bottom description 'ImpulseTech is part of GLC Group Ltd' is as Dinah says a deliberate attempt to lull prospective customers into thinking they're dealing with an outfit of established provenance and backed by massive resources.
Rather than a computer in a kid's back bedroom.
As [Name removed by Forum Team] has repeatedly claimed the Impulsetech site was set up by scammers and that he had it closed down (oh, yeah?), and as he's currently under investigation for fraudulent trading, is the strategy now to come up with a defence of not guilty to all charges by virtue of insanity??
You really have got to be nuts -- in the middle of all this -- to invent a fictional UK registered limited company, and also continue to seek to lure in punters with a £650 Sony laptop "prize draw" as a follow-up to the earlier draw won by the doubtless mythical "Serena" from Newcastle.
But perhaps [Name removed by Forum Team] knowledge of The Law really is as extensive as he claims. So the deeper you dig yourself into hole -- as he's doing now -- the less likely you'll ever be prosecuted for anything, but instead let off with a prescription for longterm medication.
Is this kid clever or wot?0 -
lol
Due to time wasters and insults our phone number has been withdrawn
If he is receiving timewasting and insulting calls, that's up to him (and his staff, if any) to deal with, unless, of course, he wants to face the DTI/BERR? :rotfl:0 -
We now have a full support system available for use which will track and record all messages and can be accessed from any PC anywhere in the world! The support is now regulated by the Department Managers

Happy Birthday to GC'SPC'S Limited.
One year old yesterday and now -- apparently -- the huge international corporation known as GLC Group Ltd.
So there'll now be two laptops to give away in every prize draw, rather than just the one.0 -

I've been following this across the net with some interest but, I must say I've lost it now - it's completely surreal! This has now got to be some sort of elaborate wind up. There's no way that if it were true, the powers that be would allow it to continue - surely?0
