Make your own stamps for printing http://www.homehints.com.au/Calendar/1199/reading/button+craft+project
These could be used for fabric, card making, anything really and a collection of them in a pretty box with an ink pad or two would make a nice gift for a crafty friend or child

  • sethsgran - I love those dolls. I emailed AKTraditions last week to see if the sell the patterns as a download but didn't even get a reply. Went to a creative crafts and stitching show last week hoping to see them but I was disappointed again. Just seems a waste having to have a kit posted half way round the world.

whoever was it who suggested we look at annies attic. oh dear ive been on there for hours.
ive emailed them pleading with them to ship to uk. i think they will have a few customers.

Hi affordmylife and welcome. Snipped your post sorry. I'll be interested to hear your reply from annie's attic.
Occasionally on ebay some of the patterns at AA pop up

sethsgran, can't wait to see when you've finished one of those dolls, they look so lovely.

stardrops, another gorgeous purse and they'll make fabulous presents.

she grinch, thank you for the link about stamps, very interesting.

I really love this idea! I've seen some big buttons on the market so you could make some pretty patterns, will def give it a go and report back.

I really love those purses, I think i'll add that to my 'to do' list aswell! Well done Stardrops!

Hi all, I have finished another cardigan for my Grandaughter for Christmas. Will try to get some photos done over the next few days. Started on her third one now.

Star Drops - Love the purses, they look so luxurious and professional, well done. I bet I would make a pigs ear out of it if I tried.

  • Well I have made one half of my sock monkey couple and am going to make the other one tomorrow I think. I am also planning on charity shopping tomorrow with a friend and am thinking solely of crafting :) So I am on the lookout for wool to felt, buttons to use, nice boxes, old postcards... I love charity shops!
