I have loved reading the various craft threads on this site and wanted to have one for all those gifts people are making throughout the year for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Get Well Soon gifts... or just for the sake of creating something beautiful

So, a question. Does anyone else make something just because they want to and then have to work out who to give it to? I have restless fingers, I can't just watch TV or chat, I have to be doing something else soon and crafting seems like the ideal solution God is good, all the time

I have made myself a book of things I have done for people, things I want to do for people, things I wish I had the time to do, how gifts were received, the little verses to go with the gag gifts. I think it will stop me feeling quite so overwhelmed by all the creativity and help me space them out so I don't try and make everything for everyone
Next project is a little 'softie' for a friend from work who is off ill. It has an outline but needs stuffing, stitching up and embellishing. Oh, and a name, any ideas? It's going to be a little monster-like God is good, all the time

Good idea to have a book and keep all the verses and stuff in - who had what etc. I've tried to do that but its turned into a tatty looking notebook:rotfl:
And I need to do some sort of timetable (bit like school........lol) to make sure I do the things I want to do. Loads last year I didn't get around to.Mary
