  • Can I join too please? I'm following the crafting for christmas 09 thread eagerly and already have lots of ideas buzzing around in my head with what I need to make and organise for xmas. I've also started my first ever sock monkey - quite excited about this and looking forward to seeing how it turns out :)

hi mgardner - links are easy. In the box where you're typing, there's a symbol above that looks like a globe with a paper clip. Copy the url you want to link to, highlight a word or phrase in your text, click on the globe/paper clip symbol, then paste in the url that you had copied. That's it!

For uploading pictures/photos, rustyflange can explain it better than me:

  • Can I join too please, I have lurked around this board for such a long time not getting the courage to reply.

So far I have made sock monkeys for my kids and husband, snowman soup, pots of gold and reindeer poop. I have so many ideas, but not nearly enough time!

  • Great, what a perfect thread! I am completely hooked on crafting now thanks to the crafting for Christmas 2008 thread, so much so that my boyfriend keeps laughing at me and when he askes me what I'm planning to do of an evening, he then answers it before I have a chance to with 'oh I know- crafty stuff!'
I have made sock monkeys, lavender & wheat pillows, christmas decs, vinyl bowls, flannel reindeers, canvas bags, glass painted candle holders and sweetie vodka so far. I brought lots of pretty paper and card toppers recently and so want get into card making, I'm worried if I start scrapbooking I won't stop and will never leave my house!
