When the glue dries is doesn't go hard as such, it tends to have a jelly like consistency which is very slightly tacky. It goes a bit like the glue that they use to attatch free gifts to magazines with. I hope that's some help.

The jewellery and the purse and really good, and very unusual. never tried making anything like either of them.

That's a really sweet sackboypattern- so it's to do with gaming then. I had wondered what it was.

Since I've discovered this special occasions thread all I'm doing is reading - no crafts at all! Every Tuesday morning i go to a hobby club so at least I will do something.

Here is the tutorial I followed(well most of the time;) ) had to get OH to do the pattern for me though as I'm useless at measuring:D Hope it helps

I LOVE new craft threads!

I'm busy making for the Knit Your Square thread but my birthday gifts for 09 so far are featured there, post no 248 on Page 13.

I really want to think ahead this year (many would say that thinking at all would be an improvement !!) and be organised with planting bulbs to give in pots - caught on the hop today and paid £1.99 for 5 mini daffs in a terracotta pot (yes, I know it's not much but times are hard and if I'd had some ready it would have cost pennies:rolleyes: ). Wrote to my aunt this week to thank her for the lovely smell in my kitchen :rotfl: - she gave me three hyacinths in a basket for Christmas!

Welcome to all newcomers, I am big fans of all of you on other threads
I visited a friend this weekend and have some socks as she wants sock monkeys for her and her boyfriend. The couple whom I made them for for their wedding say they love them, I sewed a little velcro onto their hands so they hold hands, was thinking of making one for my car and putting velcro on its bum so it sits on the dashboard. Now all I need are some black and green socks (I LOVE green )

Stardrops I love the purse - love anything pink so really think that looks good with the dots!! Clever girl !

Sian - I'm going to do a wedding hamper for my friend who's getting married in the summer and would love to do sock monkeys for that but I just don't know if I could do it - have you got a photo of the wedding ones you did? velcro on the hands sounds great!
