Buddy...I've just had a play with mine now, it really works! Reckon you could sew just about anything on it as long as it's not anything really thick...must go get some of those silver needle threaders though! I've just sewn a heart shape for fragrance sachet type thing, yay!

Angela...sounds lovely, I like woodlandy and fresh type smells...will have to go hunting on ebay now. Didn't think of using oils on wadding...now the smells are endless!

thevicster - I think I know where mine is, so I must try and get it out over the weekend!

Love the bag - very nice!
    Numpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...

I really wish I could sew but I seem to break sewing machines the instant I go near them. As we're posting pictures I'll share some too. This is a ring I made which I gave to my friend (she saw it after I'd made it & wanted it), which she promptly lost lol. It's made using a vintage plasric rose, an oval antique brass filigree & antique brass ring base :). Below that are some earrings I made for my mum, again using vintage cabs & swarvski pearls. Sorry the pictures are a bit big...

Thanks everyone, I use E6000 (I think that's what it's called anyway) glue when I need to stick anything together. It's industrial strength stuff which works really well, you can use it on lots of other materials too, a tube is usually about £6 on ebay :).

  • Hi,
Can I join too? I make handmade cards when time allows but like to turn my hand to anything crafty & love learning new crafts.
