Rusty - spent last night looking/reading through the sock monkeys thread you started - omg thanks to the person who got me intrigued about sock monkeys cos its another thing I'd like to try - I'm pretty sure I'd be rubbish though - really bad at sewing - don't have a sewing machine so would have to hand sew it and to be honest I can't even sew on a button LOL!! they're all so lovely though - in fact I'm eyeing up my fluffy socks I'm wearing right now... although they're knee highs but I'm loving the colours - would look really pretty as a sock monkey!!! ha ha

have a go popkins i sew mine by hand i wouldn't be able to control the machine well enough on the small shapes.

Ooh can I join too:D I'm usually over at the sock monkey thread but have decided to try somthing different. I've decided to have a go at purse making and made my very first purse today:D I've bought lots of funky fabric remenants off ebay and I'm hoping to give the purses as gifts for xmas, birthdays etc. What do you think?
