trend chart shows it up a tad today....not effecting N.I. yet.....

heard the other day that the Euro will continue to fall till end of the month, so if that has any influence over the price of oil. End of May might see a rise in oil prices.

only hear-say, but something to think about:)

Would the pound v the dollar not have more effect on prices rather than the euro?

Edit. Just seen it now at £295. Should have held my nerve.

No, GDP has a more direct effect on oil prices in the UK. We export more to Europe than we do to America. While Europe is in a mess the pound also devalues and GDP output lowers, driving down the price of oil.

UK economy shrunk 0.3% in the first 3 months of this year. The first Quarters growth will be looked at in the beginning of next month this is when the Bank of England is due to meet and consider securing the economy.

.....would be wise to wait until this happens as oil should come down in price until this happens;)

Yes, I'm wondering that as well. I need to get some pretty soon, but don't want to miss any further drops. It's going down like a stone at the minute.
