900 litres cost £468 and 1800 litres cost £935 on Monday 2nd July but on Friday 6th July 900 litres now costs £485 and 1800 litres costs £962!

Does anyone think the price is going to come down again or should I order now?
  • Back to the fire and the back burner for everyone. Everyone buy an old turf spade and off to the nearest peat bog to get our turf.

Nothing to beat lighting a fire in the bog and freshly brewed tea, not to mention the midges.

if oil prices carry on like this I'll be glad to do it.

I paid £310 for 500 litres - have woodburner - wish it was connected to a back boiler!! Guess it will be extra layers to keep warm.

Tea and sarnies always tasted fab at the moss. For some reason we always had tinned sardines in tomato sauce too ....... strange!!

Trouble is you can't cut it any more. It's all fenced off and only a few commercial cutters have rights to cut
