I bought 2 and the discount did not come off, CS would only refund me on 1 so i only got £5.70 off, had manager down and he said the same, was told if i want to phone HO on monday, he even gave me the number. Am i on to a loser here?
Definatly worth phoning HO imo. Sounds like the manager was wrong in my opinion.0 -

Have you any reason to say this?Auntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0 -
The offer was on both products, not just a reduction on one. I would suggest that you should have had a full refund as this is a blatant overcharge. My CS was embarassed about it and gave me the £11.40 saying how sorry he was.Oakey22 wrote:I just got back from tesco, went to et something to eat and noticed the meal for 2's at £10 for 2.

I'm aware of previously faulty scanners now working - so if there's a policy of disabling them, it's not company-wide.0

A extra store near me has recently added a scanner to the two which is already there.0

I doubt that turning off the scanners is a company wide policy, I have been in stores that the scanners dont work s**t happens I dont try my luck with anything expensive and all the stuff I have bought has been required anyway and I can always forget my cards.
I have noticed that 1 store seems to have problems mainly the day after all the special offers finish and are fine the rest of the times I have been in this could be due to a system failure but does sound fishy.
Robert???? I think you need to calm down a little, some of your comments that are aimed at spa2k and Tars have been you against Tesco, they work for Tesco and are not here for you to have a go at them as representatives of Tesco they spend 8 hours a day there and come home just like you go to work and leave work at work when you leave for the night (ok most people do). when they are at home they are not working and need to be treated with respect like you would any other person you know know on the internet.
Personally I like the challenge of finding r+r's if I get one great especially if it is something I need or want if I dont want it I leave it on the shelf for the next hunter andpost it on here.0
