I have seen these signs - but also had R&Rs on meat while they have been displayed.
Also saw identical sized signs on offers ending "31/1/06" saying "customer information - this offer ends Tuesday"
Don`t know what point they serve as the end date is always on the yellow SEL/Signs anyway.0 -

Mr.T. prob see,s it(mistakenly) as a get out clause for R&Rs,in case any posters/sels are left up after the finishing date.0 -

What and get branded a trouble maker.I will keep a low profile.
TS are sending letters to HO about them so will see if they are removed.0 -
I tried to get my first misprice today L'oreal foundation SEL 10.44 went through the till at 10.99. Went to CS she said but you've got an extra £3.00 off and we are not displaying that so got it for less than 10.44. On receipt it said L'oreal saving £3.00 at the end. No refund. Help0

No help. At the end of the day it wasnt a misprice. If you dont want the product now, then try and get a refund.0 -

So you are given £3 off of a price of £10.99 when displayed price is £10.44....you are paying therefore a price of £7.99 against the aforementioned £10.44, where exactly is the overcharge???Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

These threads have been here for over 4 months and still Tesco can't update there SEL or ads to the correct Central Price. They continue to overcharge people (rip there customers off) Labels that say ends 30/1 that aren't correct and large hanging signs are incorrect.
Tesco must read these threads, but still we are here day after day reporting misadvertised prices.
Yes Tesco are brave with there policy but many of us are saying thank you but what about the thousands which don't notice?
Yes I have had a few freebies. I am sure that the price I have paid for items in the past I have been overcharged and I haven't noticed. No guilt here.
They have so many Ads on TV stating they check prices but they don't check their own.
I even tried to shop not looking for any misprices but guess what overcharged!
ALWAYS check your receipts, offers end and the labels do not get removed.
I have had problems with ADSA where I got overcharged for 8 weeks in a row.
They are breaking the law not you.
I am surprised that Tesco have not had a massive fine from Trading Standards for their misadvertising (most stores still have Mars bars at £1.05 not the £1.18 they are charging hanging from the ceiling in nearly every store I have been in)
Rant over
Good job for us that Tesco are useless and we are still bagging freebies0 -
Just back from Toulouse - went to the large LeClerc hypermarket there and noticed that all the SEL are LCD displays (presumably programmable remotely)
I could just imagine Tesco's CS arguing over every R&R if they had the power to change the SEL at the push of a button !0
