my mate works at a large store in chester , and her job was checking prices because of the law they know the rules.,its a bout time all stores big or small got there act together and charged the correct price. why are we being made to feel like shoplifters because of there incompetance , overpriced good s to us are theft by any other name ,and we dont notice and they profit..
if we took the agressive atitude evertime we where overcharged they wouldnt enjoy it , stand your ground money savers

    The latest report from Bristol:

Samsung D500 Pay as you go Tesco mobile -
POS Material on cardboard stand £169.97
Buy £10 of airtime and price goes down to £159.97
POS Material out of date on 22nd Jan, so offer didn't work.

    Refunds total: £333.01 =)

How does that deal work? Wouldn't the mobile phone and airtime be on a separate item on the receipt. Couldn't they argue that the £10 voucher just didn't get knocked off and so refund the £10 voucher?
    Titch :)

Two nice new Motorola V171 mobile telephones for me today
    SEL and Till = £49.94
Reverse side of leaflet (Front has £10 off Mobiles over £50.00) has them for £39.97. Swag the leaflets for further purchases as the offer expires 19th February

Many thanks Mr T, Worcester - St Peters :iloveyou:

And when you are at customer services picking up the phone and getting refund, don't forget to ask for a bag to recycle your old phone. They either give £5 to charity or £2.50 to charity and 250 bonus clubcard points to you

    HELP

Can find the phone but not the leaflets. Any pictures???
The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile

  • The sad or stupid thing is that on this board were oncea lot of loyal Tesco customers. T offered them ad lib freebies in the form of RRs. What do those loyal customers then do. They use it. They search for them. They tell their friends and all and sundry. T then becomes overwhelmed with lawful requests from his loyal customers for RRs. CS dont like it especially when the more adept (habitual RRers) hunt these offers down in all his stores. They are rude to the customers who from this board know their rights. Akll this only goes to create unpleasantness between T and his shoppers. Threats of banning etc. The result is these longstanding customers begin to feel hard done by and Rand r even more. Eventually T comes down on them hard and they go to Sainsburys. I would love to know HOWMANY LOYAL CUSTOMERS have gone that way. Dont forget they were perfectly happy shopping at T's till he offered them something for nothing and then tried to wriggle out of it. Its the wriggling out of it they dont like.
Only one result.....they leave T in droves. Sadly this can only accelerate.
