Lovely surprise, got home from sewing club and found that ds had remembered to vac right through for me. Ball gown taking shape, sleeves cut out and one tacked in. doesn't look too bad.

Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

Don't feel bad Thriftlady - I don't see mine at all and haven't spoken to her in years. Mind you as she is mostly Tired and Emotional  she may not have noticed. She has made no effort to see any of her children, grandchildren or great grandson for which I am grateful. Middle dd did try but was rebuffed so that's that!

dd(12) has decided to let me know that she needs £30 for a school trip next week - she knew about this at the right end of the month but decided to wait till the sticky end  this is a deposit for a resdiential activity thingy so I have decided that this will be her holiday this year as she is being very awkward about what she wants to do. Last year was so much easier when we based trips around her Dr Who obsession but this year her interests revolve around lipgloss and it's that bit harder.

Met dd(19) after w*rk at the tesco next door and got a lift home - the good news was that i got loads of yellow stickered goodies - the bad news that i had to leave bikey at work and have also been playing Japaneze Puzzles in the Freezer

I truly believe that we do not end but go on elsewhere, I am sure you will meet your mum again. You will be able to reach and and hug, just as you did, or at least that is what I believe.

I wish I had not had such a difficult relationship with my mother. I could not have coped if she had been alive when little bear came along. Every relationship has different dynamics. I can credit my mother with a lot of things, including a sense of right and wrong, a sense of duty, my first suicide attempt and a breakdown where I lost all my short term memory.

However I do believe that we will be able to see each other clearly, and be able to appreciate and love each other as we couldn't before when we meet again.

Not a very OS day. I had a pot noodle for tea. :o And what was worse - I enjoyed it :o

anniestar I know what you mean I too would give anything just to hear my late husbands laugh again It was very infectious, and made everyone smile.
I had quite a good day, I went out to lunch with DD and we had a two for one deal, then this afternoon I had to pick one of my DGS up from school and take him to the dentists for his Mum as she had the school run to cope with. He came out with a big smile and no treatment ,his smile is worth a fortune as it lights up his face.
Tonight I handed my second essay in at college and only one more to go and thats this big one !!!
