Theres a thread here
You need to check tax codes on P60s - if they ended with H (ie 455H) or another letter I can't remember (but not L) you will have had it
It all stems back to when they stopped the Married Man's Tax Allowance ...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I am gearing myself up for this 60 things an hour tomorrow, not sure I'll do it successfully, but as long as junk is flung and hotspots are cleared, then it will still be a success.
I am currently looking to declutter this cheque into an account but there are so many and they confuse me!!!!!!! Will plod on.........0 -
Now I have finally caught up with the thread!

I won't be able to get my cooker this week as the cheque will not clear in time for the company to get it from the manufacturer in time for Wednesday.. so it looks like I'll be getting another £490 in food allowance.. which I will use to have the gas meter moved out of the hallway.. it is right in the way at the moment so having it moved is on my list of jobs to do and this way I'll get it done sooner rather than later.
Definitely worth doing. I had mine moved from the hallway to outside in the drive and its so much nicer. Also... if you can get the meter put outside, try to get it on the north/east side of the house, preferably in the shade... it will only save you pennies, but we all know that they count!
If your supplier is doing a smart meter trial, you may even be able to get it moved without paying for it, so its worth checking it out. I assume you know who to contact to get this done, but if you have any problems, PM me and I'll see what I can do to help.0 -
Good Luck Soappie
Pigpen healing vibes being sent to Tabitha, hugs to her parents and to you also x
K, I've been to Asda so that's done, I've just put the pressure cooker on with the tea so whilst that's cooking I'm gonna head upstairs close all the blinds and give littleys clothes a sort through, on my way up I'm gonna take up the blackboard that's currently in the hallway and see if I can find space for it in her room.
Sounds like a plan.
Triker my OH had the same trouble you're having when he had an extraction, it's been 2 months since it was done and only now feeling ok, he had to have bone cut away and dry socket the works, I, of course thought he was just being awkwardI didn't realise it had happened to lots of people.....hope it heals quicker than that for you x
Off upstairs..0 -
Well we've just had Sunday Roast and I've cleared everythign away....nromally I would have waited until later or for DH to do it!
but now my Kitchen is looking almost as good as it was when I finished my HHC!!!
Except for a burnt Le Creuset Pot!The potatoes boiled dry by misake....
I'm always burning mine... they're older than I amand they've survived my godmother, mother and me. Just soak it, give it a scrub with a metal scourer, and eventually you'll probably cook the remains of the burn off...
