  • Me decluttering is all part of the flying so you are doing the right thing - the more clutter you get rid off the easier your home will be to maintain.

Hugs triker sorry to hear you are feeling grotty - dont like the sound of the bit sticking up in your gum - dont think thats right - are you due to go back to dentist?

    Have done some filing!!!!

Triker.. it probably is just a bit of tooth in the gum.. it will work its way out on its own.. when I last went to the 'D' word and they managed to knock me out and pin me down long enough to get a tooth out I had about 6 broken pieces came out.. they were sharp but worked out in a day or two.

I won't be able to get my cooker this week as the cheque will not clear in time for the company to get it from the manufacturer in time for Wednesday.. so it looks like I'll be getting another £490 in food allowance.. which I will use to have the gas meter moved out of the hallway.. it is right in the way at the moment so having it moved is on my list of jobs to do and this way I'll get it done sooner rather than later.

Clear one of the shelves in the bathroom and stack them on there.. OR.. put them in one of the cupboards on the landing..

and.. is that form done yet??? Do I HAVE to come stand over you and force you to do it?

hex household filing, generally all utility bills (including council tax) keep for 1 year, credit card bills etc 1 year, bank statements at least 1 year (I keep these for 2), wage slips shredded once P60's received. Only keep current insurance documents (unless a claim is progressing) BUT I do keep at least the one previous motor policy to prove on going no claims history. I tend to keep all tax documentation (including tax credit stuff) for at least 7 years. HTH

Excellent - thanks for this ... my job today is sorting out the study. I have bank statements, credit card statements and payslips going back 20 years (when I first started earning) and bills going back 12 years - when I got my first place. I'm a bit of a hoarder :rotfl:
  • Thanks lil_me - am I right in thinking then that you just bake as normal, cool freeze and then just need a heat through when needed??? sorry for being a nuisance but this would be such a great help for me.
And remmeber you need to do a studying schedule today too!!! make some time in that diary!!!

phewww, just sorted under the bed in the guestroom!
it's a midlevel one so quite lots of room to [STRIKE]forget[/STRIKE] store things :o

BUT it's empty now. a few boxes with (still) babyclothes will go to a workmate of oh; some things go to the dump; some went into the loft (seasonal stuff); some into the garage - and stairs are nice and empty again 'tadaaaaaaaaaaa' :T

next step will be to dismantle the bed and get rid of it! (freecycle or dump!)
i also have 2 barstools we don't need any longer and a box with A4 suspension files (too small for my filing unit)

    so baby steps .... :j

methekids that's exactly what flying is about. throw out the rubbish, get rid of not needed things and THEN you can actually do the cleaning properly and more easily. flying should lead to a minimum of housework

oh no Triker! hope you will get better in no time!!! :grouphug: not too close though, i dont' want any germs :D
drink loads and please take it a bit easier!

pigpen loads of healing vibes to new nieces way!!! poor mite :kisses3:

Pigpen send healing vibes for Tabitha.

Triker get that form filled in NOW!

Anw mum good luck with tax form, I did mine about 3 months ago online as well, and all the tax man / woman has done is to keep altering my tax code and demanding money, then the following week changing it all back! and send me a nil demand, what a waste of paper etc.

Bought a book at Bicester village, plenty of people wander around but not much spending gonig on. The Wedgwood shop was open adn trading as normal as was Monsoon.
