Anyone any ideas where to put my stockpile of loo rolls?

I believe Dusty keeps hers in the attic as additional insulation :rotfl: personally I stack mine behind/under/around the loo (stops any dirt getting round there, but then there are no boys/men in my house ... )

Pigpen - hugs for you and your sister, and prayers & positive vibes for Tabitha

m0Zzy - I don't like hoovering... but people will insist on coming to visit me!

Downstairs mopped, upstairs hoovered & mopped, kitchen table cleared and wiped. Kitchen surfaces cleared (completely) and wiped. Candles burning to make the house smell nice. 3 tiffin cakes cut into squares and piled onto cake stand to look pretty (now placed carefully in the middle of the clean table). DW on... just shovelling lunch down me then need to have a shower as my hair is grim.

They'll be here in about 5 minutes, so it's a race against time!
  • Afternoon All

Well...... confession here...... have not managed any of the list but!!! i have managed to get all of us to do HHC in respective bedrooms and we brought everything cleared out the bedrooms (you know teenagers- crockery, rubbish, dirty laundry etc) downstairs.

I think the reason I struggle so much is that I have so much stuff which has to be moved or dealt with which leaves no time/energy for cleaning. So today I decided not to go through and miss most of the list but to concentrate on getting rid of stuff - hope this is ok as not strictly flying....

    SoI have also:

    2nd load in WM
    fire ready to light
two bags full of recycling out in the bin
3 loads washing up done (2 wiped up by DS - 3rd still waiting)

I have moved loads out of my bedroom and can nearly walk around the bed...
also found lots of ironing that needs doing - will do HHI x 2 in a minute to make a start.

Then must print some letters out to post
wrap ebay parcels - sold my fire £40 yippee - pay most of cost of getting cat spayed
    list items on ebay
find last of Tax form stuff - must do this - so bad to leave it to the last minute

Off to have have 'fun' with HHI - hmm

Right crawled back in bed, feeling dreaful again, holding off on painkillers due to general ensuring dribbley state I become.

Can feel something sharp in top of gum, had a look and something is definately poking through, ugh. Like a splinter in my gob.

    Anyway managed to

WM x1 and all dirty washing downstairs in readiness to do.

    Wiped down surfaces.

    Put chicken in remoska.

Bin bag fling, gone round and filled a huge bin bag.

Emptied all bins in house that's DD'1s, our bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.

Put some glass jars in recycling bin.

Flung some mouldy veg at bottom of veg basket.

    Cleared and swept fireplace.

Emptied some coal in coal bucket.

Rearranged and fluffed up cushions on sofa.

    Swept kitchen floor.

Emptied a huge pan of lovingly made chicken soup down the loo as yet again it wasn't eaten!!!

    Took bread out of BM.

Printed off that form re tax credits.

Harassed DD1 to take dirty plates and glasses out of bedroom x 1000

Splodged toilet duck gel in loo and gave it a wipe around.

Cleaned the sink in bathroom and neatened up toothpastes and soap. That was my biggie because it's been bugging me for ages.

Stacked toilets rolls under sink, it looks better than it was.

  • Oh Nearly forgot -

Should really bring DD computer downstairs to ensure that she does do homework not chat to friends all evening - GCSE year.....

But that means I have to find a place for the filing cabinet...... so that means turning out the coal shed (no longer holds the coal!).

Is it too big a task to do today I ask myself.....?

Does anyone know where can find out a bit more about this WFT or CTC - i have located the form and I did receive some credits in 2002/3 but not sure why people are claiming - is if you did not recieve any? It does not take much to confuse me!!

    thanks

hex well done getting the junk room done!
toots yes ready baked spuds were in freezer, I got a bag on offer and baked them all at once, do it a lot as I hate them just microwaved.
kaz well done getting it finished
pigpen, every last little positive thought I can is with that little baby and her family, fingers, toes and everything else crossed she is better soon.
methekidsandthecat if the living room is quiet enough that could be a good idea, but if it's not it would in my opinion be easier to leave it where it is and spot check she's not just nattering if that is your concern

Seems my mealplan didn't post yesterday, that's happened with a few posts lately....so will do that in a mo, can't remember what was on it now, doh!

I actually had something to eat, Sundays DPs been away nearly every one for months and I am tending just to eat when he gets home but it's getting later and later so made myself a sandwich.

I've done a bit today but not the huge amount I'd hoped, I need to get the LR pulled round but allowing DSs 30 minutes on the Wii before I vacuum. I'll do some moving/flinging for now, and post the mealplan.
One day I might be more organised...........
