Definitely worth doing. I had mine moved from the hallway to outside in the drive and its so much nicer. Also... if you can get the meter put outside, try to get it on the north/east side of the house, preferably in the shade... it will only save you pennies, but we all know that they count!

If your supplier is doing a smart meter trial, you may even be able to get it moved without paying for it, so its worth checking it out. I assume you know who to contact to get this done, but if you have any problems, PM me and I'll see what I can do to help.

Oooh... free sounds wonderful.. tell me more!!

I last spoke to them when we moved in and I was trying to find out who our supply was so I don't really have a clue who to talk to.

Suppliers are starting to do trials of smart meters, and as part of this they may be persuaded to move your meter (location isn't as critical for smart meters, so they can be removed from awkward places quite easily - it's another saving associated with them, alongside real-time metering... actually, don't get me started on it, I'll get REALLY boring  ).

Not all suppliers are testing on their customers... very sensibly, we're using our staff for the trial!

Drop me a PM with your supplier name and I'll see what I can find out... I've alreadly got your postcode, and I'll let you know if I need more information.

DW emptied, WM filled. Off to do the washing up that needs to be done by hand, clean the DW filters and reload it.

Things are looking pretty much OK here, but I have found it difficult to keep on top of things over the last couple of weeks what with getting back so late EVERY evening, so I think I need to just pick one or two things to get done each day, concentrate on stopping the mess coming back, and then do the big stuff at the weekends. I really DO need to get the utility room & study sorted out!

Thanks please can you get onto me about this, intented to do it last week but still haven't.

I seem to have an extreme self sabotage button where money is concerned at the mo, it's almost like subconsciously I want to be really poor.:o

Know what you mean - I have had stuff to ebay for ages, a motorbike sitting in the garage that should be sold, a go-kart the same, toot everywhere that I could sell, and forms to fill in that I could claim stuff on, but I still don't do it - always something else to do first (or sit down with CBA disease)...

I have made a start, I have printed off the form - DO THE SAME TRIKER, WE'LL DO IT TOGETHER...:D Only 6 more days to go (and that's if you're taking it by hand to tax office - less if posting... )

Yeah a challenge, for MSE money sabotage experts....:rotfl:.

Re your motorbike, we've got a few too, you know, that'll be stripped down and the parts sold on ebay when ... That's OH's job though.

I've printed the form too. I'll get it in a mo.

Question why can't I list anything on ebay, it's like a physical block, can't get past 'thought' and never get anywhere near 'action' :rotfl:

Anyone else up for the challenge.

I also have a SORN that needed filling in a week or so ago, KICK MYSELF HARD.:o

Get the sorn in as you can get fined for that one being out of date.

Thanks for the link flower - I'm delegating that to OH

I need to do a bit more to my listings so that I can upload tonight, I find the thought of ebay worse than the actual thing.
