greenbee - ebay is .......ok - this week's havent finished yet but I have 8 out of 21 with bids on so thats a start!
trying to get some more on tonight as well.

Well done... remember, even if you only list one thing a day (or get everything ready to list on a cheap listing day), you'll gradually reduce the boxes and eventually have space for the Shattered family to visit in August! Don't forget you've got a date to work to!
And here I need help??? Any tips on cleaning an old (poss Meditreaen sp) tiled floor? With bleach spray, anda stardrops/vinegar soln and swilling with boiling water it is "clean-er" but def not clean, the tiles have lots of black stains - any amazing ideas??? :o

Do you have any idea what they are made of an how they are sealed (e.g. quarry tiles, glazed ceramic, terracotta)? What colour at they, and what colour is the grout ;)

Triker & Flower - good luck with the paperwork challenge!

Morning all. Just checking in to say the house is reasonably presentable after a weekend muck out.

Have a heap of things to do this week before I fly out to Oz for the weekend. Will put lists up on new thread when it arrives :)

Off to work now - byeeeee.

Massive hugs Pigpen - just read about Tabitha. I'm sending every healing vibe going to her. My daughter was in hospital for 3 weeks when she was born due to fitting - she had lumbar punctures, scans, cultures, the lot. After 6 months on a mild sedative they decided she wasn't fitting at all - she slept deeply and jumped in her sleep...i'm keeping everything crossed for baby T xxxxxx
  • well done triker and flower - thats a start- some paperwork has to be done unfortunately - we will keep [STRIKE]nagging you[/STRIKE] encouraging you just as you do for me!!

    I know greenbee - its a worry!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

It really depends on the type of tile and what marks they are. Phosphoric (Brick) Acid is great for cement stains and limescale (which usually hold onto the dirt more) on quarry tiles and any general purpose detergent should remove greasy marks, but be careful as either might stain if not done right or the tiles are not sealed.

The best advice would be to go to a "proper" tile shop (NOT B&Q, ect) and ask their advice. plus they will have the stuff to clean them with.
