Hope you enjoyed your course - I can guess what all your friends will be getting for Christmas this year! It's very very nice though getting a gift that someone has taken time and made. Ooohhh and bath bombs, my DD would love to make them!
If you get a chance you should try the CP stuff, or alternatively just get a book and teach yourself. My sister did it that way and then she gave me a kit for my birthday to make my own and I managed it fine too although it still takes me a wee while, as I have to read the recipe and measure everything, whereas my sister just whizzes through it as she has made so much (I think she got fed up of me asking her for more soap all the time!). OH has very sensitive skin and the CP stuff with lavendar and geranium oil is the best thing he has ever found for his skin. All this talk of soap, I am getting low so really need to get going and make another batch as it takes a few weeks to "mature".
Enough ramblings from me now!
Edit: I can give you the name of a good company where you can get all your ingredients if you want? I could PM it to you.
ThanksI'd be intererested in that company name..
The course was good...very intersting. I might get round to CP eventually but there is so much to do with M&P. I'm gonna get certified to sell as I have a bunch of people at work already wanting me to make stuff for them to give to people as christmas presents :rotfl:Chocolate cupcake soaps seem a popular idea...0 -
...and I have failed failed failed so far  It all went a bit pear-shaped on Thursday when I went on a course and had to pay for a taxi to get to the place, and then a taxi to get back (£12 already) and then I was working in the evening and then ended up getinf a taxi home because the stupid bus didn't turn up  that's another £6... and I also bought a drink and some rosebuds (£3.45 all together) so that's the £25 gone already
Still... I have cashed in the £20 from TCB and that should see me through the month, hopefully. £1.33 per day. Not at work today or tomorrow so hopefully won't spend much (anything!) this weekend
OH does want to go to York tomorrow and I really can't afford it but he wants to go as he is going to York with his parents on his birthday weekend and I can't go so he wants to do it with me this weekend, which is nice but...:o0 -
... and it can't come a day too soon!0

Only a little bit... I'm not doing too badly! :rotfl: I can't wait for pay day though! :rolleyes:0

Hee hee.
I don't think there will ever be a day when we can't wait for pay day, not unless the lottery comes up!0 -
Hi Primula, Fresian Swinstie and anybody else who reads by diary..
I have created a little site about soap making (it's still a bit of a work in progress because I need to add pics and stuff but if you could possibly just click and have a look at it
http://www.squidoo.com/easyhandmadesoap
The more people look at it the higher it goes up in the ranking on that particular site and more people will see it... also if people click through ads I get 'commission' (pennies) but if you could help me help people find it that would be great. Thanks
PS I hope i don't get done for spamming. It's not spam- it's just a site I madw which I would like people to have a look at0 -
Did it Laura! You are one clever girl making a website. Well done you. Nice to put a face to the name too!

Ta chick. I am in the proces of stating up my own small (tiny) business, selling bases for m&p soaps. Unusual one like cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil etc and eventually, maybe, I may have my own site and will use that little one to linky to it as a bit of free advertising. Well, that's the plan anyway! Just waiting for my safety cert to come through so i can sell stuff!0
