End of year update as to where I am with my 'life plan'. I guess I strayed a little on the DFW front.
Tomorrow I will be back to make some simple DFW goals- keep myself on the right track!0 -
DFW aims Jan 2011
- Pay off Barclaycard, ensure completely cancelled/shut down (as they didn't do it last year :rolleyes:)
- Contact Halifax CC. Ensure completely cancelled/shut down.
- Set up DD for Halifax CC payment so I don't forget- nearly late this month :eek:
- Look around for another card with 0% offer- to transfer Halifax card over
- Be no more than £100 overdrawn at end of the month. (with the view to reducing overdraft gradually so will stop using it)
- Take lunch to work, and buy multipack cans of drink to take to work £1.60 per day is ridiculous - thats £400 a year!! :eek::eek:
- Update spreadsheet so info is correct
- Pay back OH money borrowed over christmas £545- but only due to stupid late payment of wage this month (not until 4/1/10!)

(shamelessly cut and pasted from another thread 'cos I'm waaay lazy :rotfl:)
Well, my diet starts todayStill, I should be able to stick to it a bit better with a definite aim in mind ie- fit into a dress! :rotfl:
Week 1 plan:- eat breakfast everyday (I'm a bu**er for skipping breakfast, snacking on choc or biscuits then over eating at lunch)
- have homemade soup for lunch at work (also nice and cheap
)
- No alcohol
(a slight bet was nade I could not give up drink for the rest of January.... bet I can
)
- Try and walk a bit more this week (building up to going back to gym in February- when everyone else has given up their new years resolutions so it's not so busy :rotfl:)
So now I need to go have breakfast (porridge today) and make soup later (veg/pulses/pasta soup)
Also going to do some serious concentrated research on venues (ie not flitting from one thing to another :rotfl:)
Going to set up a spreadsheet of Venue, location (how many mile from home) how many it seats for ceremony and capacity for receptions. So when we workout guestlist we can see straight away which venues are out as too small and concentrate on emailing and visiting places which are right size.
So not much to do do today...
Better go have breakfast, I'm hungry0 -
Good luck with your new plans. You sound like me - I never eat breakfast and then raid the biscuit tin for morning coffee at work. Today I am back at work, had no breakfast, decided to work through my lunch hour so I can finish early, nipped out for a sandwich and nowhere close by open so I had two bags of crips and some chocolate for lunch today!!0

Right- that's one area compiled on a spreadsheet..now to look at the other possible area. Need to take a break for a bit...my eyes are boggling0
