Awww, thanks Primula. That's really sweet and mega nice of you! I'm totally touched that you were thinking of me whilst on your bus in Edinburgh! I wasn't planning on going to the dungeons as we are pushed for time, and we have both been to the ones in York and London. But it is really nice of you to ask.

By the way to send a private message to some one you click their name on the left of their post and will give you an option to 'send a private message to...' If you click on that it takes you to the private message bit, which is just like writing a normal post but is just between the 2 people.

Not long until Edinburgh now! Have got the cat sitter all sorted to Harold will be fed and watered etc while we are away. Just over a week!

3 days now! Went to visit my mum and dad yesterday and my dad gave me 'spending money' for when we're away £20 each So that will be nice..

Only 2 days now 'til our little trip to Edinburgh!

Still waiting for the sunglasses I ordered through work 5 weeks ago (damn things were out of stock!!) They are now back in stock so now doubt will turn up on Friday afternoon when I've already left. AND it's supposed to be really sunny all weekend. Humpf!

Itinerary for weekend away-

Friday

1. 10am-ish. Train to Edinburgh
2. 1.20pm-ish. Arrive in Edinburgh
3. 2pm. Check-in to B&B
4. Afternoon wandering around Royal Mile, souvenir shopping etc
5. Pizza Express for dinner (BOGOF main course voucher!)
6. 8pm. Ghost walk (Underground City of the Dead tour)

Saturday

1. get up nice and early for full Scottish Breakfast- yum!
2. morning- Edinburgh Castle
3. Afternoon- Royal Botanical Gardens

Sunday

1. Go home Booooo

D- n't buy from the tartan shops on the Royal Mile - there be rip offs!

Also, walk about halfway down the Mile, nip into the Museum of Childhood (free and bags o'nostalgia) and grab a fudge sample from the nomarific fudge shop next door!
