[STRIKE] Clean kitchen.[/STRIKE] Done!
Now I need to pop to the shop and get some milk and washing powder. This will mean getting changed out of my scruffy trackies and into something a little more presentable. Oh, the effort! :rolleyes:0 -
Right- now need to sort out paperwork. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be when I used to ignore it and not open it! It just needs to be put where it should live0

File paperwork away.
Right paperwork all filed away. Lucky I did it- they are putting up the DD payment for water and I hadn't noticed! They've put it up almost £10:eek: I'll keep an eye out for next bill and if we are going too much in credit I will try and negotiate a diff amount in between old DD and new. Same with the gas bill actually. We must be overpaying quite a lot if they have had to refund us £200!0 -
Write 2 Dooyoo reviews.
Right- that's one review done. I wrote about the appliction process for the virgin CC and the poor communication etc. It was quite lengthy- nearly 900 words. I'm gonna make a hot choc and decide what to write my next review on.
*edit* And that's the second review done. I went with a bit of an MSE theme and reviewed Halifax online banking. generally bemoaning the fact that transferring money around is a pain!0 -
Post 2 items on Ebay.
Not sure I'll get round to this tonight as OH is wanting to play Halo online with his friends soon
Maybe I'll take the pictures and write the info so I can cut and paste it and therefore get them up on Ebay very quickly. I'll see how I feel0 -
You have done lots today already, leave Ebay for a night. I'm sure that if they aren't up by 7pm you get less for them anyway. I think I read somewhere that you make more on Sundays....could be wrong though. Check the Ebay threads to make sure. Download TurboLister if you don't use it already as it's good for listing when you can be *rsed and then uploading all in one go. I used to use it a lot.0

Hi Laura,
Not long til Edinburgh, hope you get a good weekend weather-wise!0 -
(copied from the: What is your Why? thread on the DFW board)
I started my DFW journey in Nov when I realised I couldn't go on adding £100+ to my debt every month by using credit cards I never paid off, going over my overdraft limit and borrowing money from my OH to pay over limit charges.
Ultimately I would like to get married and have children without debt hanging over me.
The last 6 months has already made a massive difference- I've paid over £1000 off of my debt, replaced £800 of savings which I spent when I shouldn't have, started saving a little for christmas so that I don't get in a mess again at christmas time and have even been able to afford a weekend away for our 9 year 'anniversary' at the end of May. I could have paid all this off of my debt, of course, but I am enjoying feeling financially more secure and being able to afford things, rather than whacking it on a credit card
:T Oh my goodness, well done Laura - you deserve your wee treat away at the end of the month. You done great gal!0 -
Hi Laura
You planning going to the Dungeons when you up for your Edinburgh trip? I was in Edinburgh last week and got bus tickets with £5 vouchers off entry to the Dungeons - if you planning going I can send them to you if you like? If you email me your address. I haven't had any emails on here, but you can can't you?!
