No danger of me wearing shorts (thankfully for anyone in the vicinity - not a good sight first thing on a Sunday morning!!) :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Evening All!

Just uploading the photies to fb
Good luck everyone else going out tomorrow
Happy running all0 -
I have wimped out.
I got up early.......but it is so so windy, and my cough is still prevalent, and I just think that I would be kidding myself to think I could do a decent length run, however slow, at this point in time.
So I have decided not to attempt it today. Perhaps I should....but I'm not. After all the time I have missed one way or another, one more day will make little difference I am sure.
Good luck to all of you running today.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Wakey, wakey everyone...its another wonderful Sunday morning, the day we all go running mad and run silly distances.:p
Whats all this talk of snow and -9c?
Its fine, calm and certainly above 0c here - so if anyone wants a day in tropical climes, just drive north!:pGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Hypno,
Dont be concerned.
Your first instincts are usually correct - theres no point prevaricating over whether to go or not.
So that doesnt constitute wimping - you're just waiting for your body to tell you its ready!:D
PS And thanks Hypno re the race - I'm actually feeling pretty good this morning considering the mileage over the last few days, so its just a case of whether the muscles feel like performing once the race starts at 9am.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Thanks rich - right now I quite want to cry....which is probably a reasonable indication that I am exhausted.
