WOW JJ well done on the run :D

Just to clarify - not a job interview today, an interview for the charity I'm running the marathon for their newsletter - scary but cool :D
  • Becks youll be fine just tell them how many miles youve been doing for your effort towards the marathon and the charity. I bet its loads more than some of the people that will be running for the charity or on their own. Youll breeze round the course with how much your training.
Im really happy with the run this morning, just hoping iv got some left in the tank for circuits at 2pm?

I'm now fully convinced that doing the long, slow distance (LSD) work early in the morning is more effective than at the other end of the day.

Since the sole purpose of such runs is to make the body more efficient at using fat as a fuel source, starting the runs on lower glycogen reserves (ie after a night of fasting) makes perfect sense.

Anyway, this morning's run was great with a low hanging mist making it very refreshing indeed.:D

JJ - Fantastic running, you are bound to be buzzing after running your furthest run ever. And you didn't hang about either. Its even more impressive with the time of day involved. Onwards and upwards from here.:D

Pania - Great run there. Are there whippets in your family tree somewhere?:p

Becky - Enjoy your media spotlight. Don't talk about fartlekking though, they'll just think you have dodgy toilet habits like Paula!:p

    Lazy??????

Hardly! Your weekly mileage has been higher than mine for the last two weeks (100 miles in 2 weeks) and you've run your longest run so far, your fastest race and your fastest quality session.

If you still feel lazy after all that you're a tough taskmaster on yourself.
